Heyy love,firstly well done on giving it another try. You should be proud of yourself for not giving up. The first time I upgraded I did not improve in Physical Science infact my results decreased but I gave myself another chance and started looking for more resources. It’s okay,please be kind to yourself and take some time to process your feelings before trying to figure out what you can do. Also I want you to know that those results don’t define who you are therefore you should not lose faith in yourself. Trust me there’s progress and you did not waste your time by writing again. You might not notice it today because of how you’re feeling. These things happen,it’s part of the journey.🥺Wishing you all the best and sending you big hugs.🫂

I don't know how their paper was(Matriculants) but I'm assuming it's the same since we wrote on the same day
Guys I also don't know when the registration for Oct/Nov will open. It hasn't been announced yet,I think it will be announced once the May/June registrations close so probably after the 20th of February. Once I know ,I will come back to your comments and let you guys know. Most questions I've already answered so scroll up/down in the comment section and you'll find your answers.Also try visiting Upgrading schools just to ask them questions they'll explain everything to you and even tell you more about upgrading bursaries.Also there's a video that Mlungisi Nkosi posted about upgrading, please check it out. Like I said in the video, I'll make another video whereby I go through the applications,for now I can't say much.😘

I don't know hun. I think they might encourage you to go there but you should find out from them/someone that works there.
No, you’re not forced to rewrite at your previous school. Once you register at the district centre, they’ll tell you which centres are available and you’ll have to choose the one that’s closer to were you live or whichever you prefer to write at.
Registrations for Oct/Nov Exams are open and will close on the 15th of March
I can't find a portal that leads to the October/November registrations.
All I see is that May/June is closed.

Hi Love,yes you can apply however not all universities will give you a chance to state that you are Upgrading so in most cases they respond based on your grade 12 results.😩

I was told the same thing. I remember they clearly told me if you feel like you didn't do good in May/June you can re-apply to rewrite again in Nov/Dec

Hi I have a question so lets say you did your matric in 2018 and you rewrite in 2019 when they combine your marks wat yr will your statement show between those two?
Rewrite as in upgrade certain subjects or rewrite matric ?
You mentioned something about upgrading bursaries, how do they work and what are the names of the bursaries?
Upgrading Bursaries are usually offered at Upgrading Schools.When you are going to register they will let you know if you qualify for the bursary and so if you do,you will have to apply for it.After some time they will call you and let you know whether your application was successful or not.If it successful then they pay for your tuition and book fees,at the end of the year if you passed well and meet the criteria you will be funded in tertiary aswell. It's a bit hard to find them hence I'm saying do your research but my advice is to go to these Upgrading schools and ask about them there.

I'm not sure if I understand your question but yes final exams consist of 75% so yes even when you are rewriting it'll count as 75% and the rest is your SBA

@@LethokuhleAngela Hi love. Use your guidelines as they will guide you on what you should know for the exams. Also practicing lots of question papers as this will help you farmilarise yourself with the diagrams,labels and also the long questions. My tip is to break everything down,don’t study everything at once,have a timetable .For example this week you focus on just Climate and weather then the following week it’s just Geomorphology.

What's the difference between rewriting n upgrading botse botse 👀bcz im lost
Rewriting what ? Matric ? When you rewrite matric you rewrite all the subjects and when you upgrade you only rewrite subjects that you are not satisfied with. Rewriting matric consists of full-time attendance and Upgrading is part-time.
Were the upgrading exams harder than the grade12 exams? Or are they the same?

Hi hunny. I don't know,I've heard people say that but I think ziyafana. It's difficult to prepare for the May/June exams because you never know what to expect compared to the Oct/Noc exams you can use question papers written during the finals to familiarise yourself with the type of questions asked.
Omg yes they are. I got my results yesterday and a 6 percent increase is insane. But I'm rewriting again November. I hope you did well if you wrote the June exams love❤

Is it accurate that if you rewrite matric and you already had a bachelor’s pass previously, you cannot combine your results? As in you can only combine them if you went from a higher certificate pass to a diploma pass, or a diploma pass to a bachelor’s pass?
Hi hunny.I think it depends on where you combine them babe. At some places they say it's not allowed but my former classmates were able to combine theirs at a different place.

Hi love. No they don't allow monthly installments
You have to pay the whole fee during registrations. I can't remember but I think I had to pay an amount that's around R8000 for 2 subjects but because I had a scholarship,they paid for everything. You can look for their number online and text them on WhatsApp to find out more about the fees
