Part of humility is just not telling people what you're good at

An easy way to grow in humility is to try to stop needing affirmation people, such as by dropping in little - and unnecessary - hints of ways in which we are impressive. Obviously the solution isn't to pretend we don't need affirmation, but to be in the Word of God and seek God for how He sees us and to find our affirmation in Him.
