To my experience ComfyUI should only be used if you actually want to do something special - for ordinary image creation it is just not... 'comfy' enough and keeps many people away from the subject instead of inviting them to it. Comfy is much like LINUX - very capable but only usable by nerds and professionals.
It does have a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's much more powerful then other UI's. I started with forge and I much prefer comfy now.
