Boz scaggs is great
This is as close to the studio version as you can get.
True professionals.
For something very different from Boz Scaggs, but still excellent, you should check out either "Lowdown" or "Lido Shuffle" from his 1976 Silk Degrees album. I loved your reaction to this beautiful song performed by one of the greatest.
Or Jo Jo...
Both Low Down and Lido Shuffle from The live show "The Dukes Of September"
'Cool Running'..fantastic.
The nostalgia comes rushing in hearing this again for the first time in a long time. This song was very prominent in a great movie from this era named "Urban cowboy" starring John Travolta. It's worthy of a reaction itself 🔥
I was going to say this... but... yes, when I hear this song... takes me to that scene with MADOLYN and JOHN... #teamBud/Sissy
Excellent suggestion! So glad you did this live version.
One of my favorites, these beautiful ladies just kill it at the end...
Woooow🤯... wasn't expecting that ending... but nice touch🫡
One of the most beautiful love songs.
BOZ silky smooth🎵😎
About 12 yrs ago, I was fortunate to see Boz Scaggs in concert. It was one of the best concerts I've been to, which slightly surprised me because the main reason we went to this concert was to see the other headliner, Michael McDonald. As Boz's set progressed, we were continually delighted and amazed at the number of terrific songs/hits he's had, but which we'd kinda forgotten about. The other thing that really stood out was the quality and caliber of his backup singers, and his generosity in highlighting them. In fact, these 2 backup singers may even be the same ones we saw.
Going down the Boz Scaggs rabbit-hole will absolutely delight you. You could start with pretty much any (every) song from his album "Silk Degrees," but Lowdown is probably the best one to do next.
Lowdown is a must by the Boz!!!!!
Such a beautiful love song! ❤🔥 The studio version is even more romantic &🔥! Perfect for slow dancing in the moonlight. Andrei, you should learn the words & sing it to Dominika! That will make her melt for sure. 😉🥰
So smooth…like butter
One of the smoothest voices of all time! And it takes a confident professional to let the ladies take the spotlight like that. Certainly by this point in his career Boz had absolutely nothing left to prove. Saw him about a year ago; almost 80 and his voice is absolutely PERFECT!
As others have mentioned, "Lowdown," "Lido Shuffle," and "Jojo" showcase a completely different side of Boz Scaggs. "We're All Alone" and "Harbor Lights" however, are more in line with this tune. ALL recommended.
Hope u can react more of Boz.. he has other great songs!!
Boz Scaggs had some great music in the 70s an 80s. ❤❤❤
Got to see him last summer in Little Rock- he’s 79 and put on a wonderful show. Listen to Miss Sun, JoJo or Hard Times.
🇬🇧 MG! He sounds exactly the same 'live' as he does on the the studio version. That was beautiful, brought a tear to my eye! What a talent. 💕🎼🎶
The studio version is awesome also, Lido Shuffle and Lowdown are wonderful songs that were played on the radio back in the day.
Hi from California 🇺🇸 A wonderful singer from the 80s!!!!✌🏼❤️
Having seen other songs from this concert I knew the backing vocalists were fantastic. I had not seen this song before. How great of Boz to let the ladies shine their light. Thanks for sharing! ☮💛🎶
Love your appreciation of the greatest Music era! "Lowdown" and "Lido Shuffle" are also great.
So many wonderful songs by this man! Welcome! And thank you for sharing! 😽🎶
Boz Scaggs has some wonderful songs, several from this same concert actually! Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂
Welcome to the Boz Scaggs rabbit hole! I love this song but you must check out his funkier jams like Lowdown and Lido Shuffle.
As close to perfection as you can get.
great LIVE performance!
This recording was more recent, decades after the recording came out, still sounds great. He had lots of hits, including upbeat and R&B hits which sound different…this is one of his big hits
I saw him live last summer. He sounded great! The band is top notch too.
Thanks for reacting to Boz. So many good songs! So many. Try”Slow Dancer”,”What do you want the girl to do?”,”HarbourLights”…and on and on.His albums are so good. Thanks again.
A blast from my youth. Thank you both.
You need to listen to more Boz Scaggs. I recommend "Lowdown" next.
This whole album was genius level. His two big hits are a lot of fun, don't miss out. Boz!
Those ladies! More more more! Wow!
I love this song, it brings me such great memories. Another excellent tune by Boz Scaggs and one of his first greatest hits is the upbeat "Lowdown" It is a very catchy unforgettable song!!
Beautiful song
Great choice Thanks
For me, "Lowdown" is his best known song.
Yeah... great groove... takes me back to my parents huge record player as big as a coffee table🤗
One of the best EVER
Boz has some incredible music ❤
Loved your reaction to this great song.🌹🌹🌹
Love you guys...another GREAT reaction
This song was written by Boz and David Foster for the movie soundtrack for Urban Cowboy with John Travolta.
Started back in the late 60's with the Steve Miller band, then went solo and EXPLODED! Silk degrees is just an absolute amazing album!
check out Boz Scaggs 'Lowdown' the live version as well.......just as good, but funkier!
Boz is amazing! And this concert from the Great American Music Hall has several more songs you would love!
Breakdown Dead Ahead
Jojo
Miss Sun
But you simply must hear songs from his 1976 iconic album, Silk Degrees:
Lowdown
Lido Shuffle
Georgia
What Can I Say
And check out Boz and Duane Allman (guitarist with the Allman Brothers) and their recording of Loan Me a Dime. It will transport you to another world!
This song was played in the movie Urban Cowboy back in the 80s I think. Starring John Travolta and Deborah Winger. It’s a beautiful old classic love song and it’s still beautiful today. Thank you, I always love the way the two of you react to the music from the past. You’re both so genuine.♥️🌹🎶
Boz Scaggs has an unusual voice that perfectly suits the music he makes. His song has wonderful production values with beautiful instrument selection backing him up, which is one of the things I miss from modern music.
You must listen to Lowdown, more upbeat, and one of my all time favourite songs
From the great movie, Urban Cowboy. Plenty of great ones by Boz, like , Jojo, Georgia, Harbor Lights, It’s Over, What Can I Say and many more. This live recording is later in his career so his voice is a bit rough, but still awesome.
#TeamBud&Sissy
@@PML78 always!
Boz…is one of the GREATEST! Iconic; one of a kind talent!😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh nice! This song was used in the movie “Urban Cowboy” 👍🏼 wow, the whistle voice…
Wow! This brought back so many teenage emotions. I was late teens when this song was released. 💕
❤ love me some Boz...
🇬🇧 "Lido Shuffle" by BS is a great 70s song that i think both of you will love. Hes a very talented man and has had quite a few hits. 💕🎼🎶
Lowdown, from the same concert! The video goes by LOWDOWN live (HQ)
Urban Cowboy!!! Great soundtrack!!!
A stunning and beautiful song from Boz, I have loved this song for many years. I love the words and the stunning live performance with the 2 ladies ending it with a wow factor. I recommend you also try out "Were All Alone" for yet another beautiful song from this great musician songwriter.
Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘❤❤🎵🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵
Keep it going. Much love ❤️
No one has mentioned another side of Boz. Try his “Loan Me A Dime” with Duane Allman on slide guitar. A Brilliant track.
From the same concert....HARBOR LIGHTS
The Boz Scaggs album " Silk Degrees" has some great music on it, if you want to react to more from him. Some mellow songs and some more uptempo funk songs.
🔥
romancing was real and still is! this song was eveythiing i didn't have to say much! just a young crazy kid!
Yes!! Low down is the best!!
Bittersweet memories
Oh ya... The biz.... The man the one and only Boz scaggs... You would like the song... Lido shuffle...
Huge rabbit hole.
The Boz great reaction
Live version is so goooooood! We hear Boz Scaggs on the Sirius XM station we most enjoy listening to in our house. I love it when a singer sounds every bit as good live as they do recorded. This was GREAT!!
Always liked that song, nice song to slow dance with. Would you please play some Chris Cornell, thanks.
High Sierra is great too…
You should listen to the song Loan me a dime with Daune Allman on guitar, from early in Boz's career
Please react to "Lowdown" the album version with lyrics. Y'all will love it.
Please react to the studio version of "Lowdown"--another great but very different type of song by Boz Scaggs!
You would really enjoy Linda Ronstadt Blue bayou
LOVE ME TOMORROW.
Lowdown and JoJo are a must
Multi genre hit, used un movies . Like Urban Cowboy.another deep rabbit hole....
Great artist. Jojo and lowdown are two other songs you need to listen to
Again since you seem to be in the mood for sentimental songs and the like; why not try a little Boz Scaggs. He covers 40 plus years of music here in the US starting with Steve Miller Band and striking out on his own. including work with Booker T & the MGs. Booker T. & the M.G.'s formed as the house band of Stax Records, providing backing music for numerous singers, including Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding. Booker T. Jones (This will be a first for many of your listeners and might give you an interesting reaction to view)
"Slowdancer" is a real hit from one of his early albums but here is alive version a few years back. ruclips.net/video/P9bJmAt_6s8/видео.html

Grew up on this.
I get the nostalgia but these older versions just don’t sound good.
