I loved this video & agree with nearly all of your rankings!! However, one thing about the 2nd chariot race I loved, was how after it, Percy proudly calls Tyson his brother. 🥹 And ofc the percabeth cheek kiss haha. Also with the laestrygonians fight, I really liked how Annabeth appeared & punched the guy who was bullying Percy for having Annabeth's photo in his notebook. I thought it was such a girlboss moment for Annabeth & hope it's in the show!
@Nily8233 I wasn’t really including the percy x Tyson moments or the cheek kiss in the chariot race scene because those could still happen even if they changed the chariot race, if that makes sense?
It’s hard for me to not mention the importance that some of the scenes you mentioned have (that weren’t very high up that had MASSIVE impacts later on in PJO Universe in some of the sister series 👀 )
Seriously, I CANNOT wait for Tyson to appear in the show. Percy is my favorite character but Tyson has a special place in my heart. SOM is my fav book so far (I'm at Mark Of Athena). Tyson is just SO sweet, cute, innocent, nice, kind, lighthearted... The scene between Percy and Tyson towards the end of the book when he said he asked for a friend to Poseidon, got Percy and that it was exactly what he asked for made me tear up. It is my favorite scene in SOM and probably in my top 5 favorite scenes. That scene means everything to me. They NEED to keep it in the show.
the second chariot race is so special to me, it shows how percabeth have really grown in working together (plus we get the cheek kiss)
I can't wait to see leah act in the siren scene,it's my favorite part of the book by far... Indy is the cutest biting monster ever🧡🧡
