Wow, I never thought we were gonna get a new version of this mod. It's been almost 10 years. I still remember seeing it for the first time and being in awe.

the fact that this mod got an update all these years later is incredible, I’d love to see updates to other custom stages too if the original creators allow it
The unleashed version looked too accurate. Would you be so kind to send me all the mods you used, and their priorities to achieve this? Also, why didn't you boost at al in the unleashed version during the stage?
Ngl the boost trivializes the level design here especially the parts with the slopes where you are supposed to naturally gain speed instead of just pressing the max speed button
This was cool. The remix music does not veer to far from the original. What took from the opening from the stage was also good. But with the long grinding section at the start I feel I should have been trimmed a little to kind of flow with the music. You could hit a spring to enter the pyramid on a pivotal point of the musical track to start the level. Giving you a chance to appreciate this song
Sonic’s a bit more vocal on the second run through of the level . It’s a little hard to hear him over the music though. So that contrast my first thought. But I really like the level having sections you can competently drift in. I always feel like it’s something exclusive to only the African area in unleashed.

The level looks great, but... It really highlights how ill equipped Generations' physics are for Adventure styled levels. Sonic's turning is too slow and tank like compared to the old Adventure physics where you could easily turn and run around obstacles. It will be interesting to see how Shadow Generations feel. My first impression from the Summer Games Fest demo is that it seems like a good hybrid mix of Generations & Frontiers. Using Generations' decent level design and speed combined with some of Frontiers' Open Zone physics and hub world.

The integration of the battle mode Pyramid Cave as the intro was genius, overall looks really dope

I never realized how much slower generations/ unleashed sonics acceleration is compared to sa2 sonic🤔
This is why we've been begging for SA3. Modern Sonic feels like ass when he's not boosting.

The slow sections only highlight how limited and hollow Generations Sonic feels to play. I miss the Adventure style so much.

Will the rest of the mod ever be playable again? For years I've always been unable to get it to work
of course it still works in now days using with the latest HedgeModManager 7.12-8.
And use Direct3D 11 mod for it.
