To those who don't know beetles, the beetle that Nene put here is the Japanese Horned Beetle (Allomyrina dichotoma). It's commonly called the Kabutomushi and is Japan's signature and native beetle. So much so that other species of horned beetles in Japan are called Kabutomushi too

When Sakamata and Kanata were first collabing before this, Kanata is the one that first said "wait, are you thinking of something dirty". Altogether this implies that Kanata had some other image in mind. It's also possible that Kanata initially only had a vague notion of "oh i guess it's something dirty" and when she clarified with Chloe later on off stream, she was surprised at what Chloe had in mind, hence leading Kanata to make the comments at 15:41
