@@DCopp Yw. It's basically a safer fine abrasive that's only aggressive enough to remove the compounds. I've used it a million times on aluminum and plastic but never on any other metal, so your mileage may vary.
Doing one tomorrow for a friend! Did a S&W SD40VE barrel last yr along with a Ruger LCP barrel just like you did and they turned out mirror like! Good job!
Very impressive! Great video!
Try using baby powder to clean it with after polishing. Removes the rouge and compounds while leaving a glow that's beautiful. Nice job.
Wow! Never heard that one b4. Thanks!

Nice job man. I'm looking to do this to my G2C...can you list where to obtain the felt & wool wheel? Thanks.
Harbor freight

Can you substitute that liquid wrench with WD40? Thanks
Sure!

Does this make the barrel prone to rusting? Or it doesn't make much of a difference?
Not at all. It tightens the pores of the metal and eliminates pitting opportunities for corrosion
Taurus should be ashamed of themselves for the barrels on the G3.
If you used your hands manually, there is a possibility that the diameter of your barrel will not be as perfect as in Lathe machining.
Won't affect a thing
