I personally think this is the best GoPro snowboarding vid on RUclips and don't understand how it could even have a single thumbs down. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us all with your video!
Incredible video. Amazing how you manage to keep the camera angled towards your board and the jumps/rails. Well done. Also, some sick editing. Well done, mate
Probably my favourite vid on RUclips. It's the crazy stylish boardslides, and little touches like the high five at before the kicker. Awesome skills to keep yourself in shot too :)
ahhh you again! Alex S haha it took me 3 days to film that line. I had so many times that I either landed, but filmed it bad, or filmed it amazing but bailed.
been waiting all winter for you to post another siiick vid. your the only one i know thats got this sweet angle down. looks crisp on the hero 3. props!
monsterlight327 thanks! You can be an insane boarder if you ride a lot too! I'd recommend that you stay in school for now though, because it's *You're, or You are. Not your.
Daniel Silva aww gee thanks! just keep shredding, and it gets easier every day! bigger features are actually less effort to get tricks around because of all the airtime. it also helped that I spent about 3 days trying the first shot in this edit, so everything was pretty automatic by then...
Wow you do some impressive tricks Tim i wish i snowboarded like you :) you just got me motivated to do freestyle like you :D cant wait until this winter
Nice work keepin steady for longer clips. Anyone editing typically has short clips, i can appreciate the focus on keepin level for extended periods...good work dude.
Hey tim this is sweet!!!! I'm picking up a hero 4 silver on black friday and ill be taking it up to utah and big bear (CA) this year with me. Im only a beginner but I've been skiing since i was 3 but i wanted to try something new so i started snowboarding. My friend and i are taking a terrain park lesson and this video made me even more stoked than i already was!
Adam Leclair that's whats up!!! park riding is super fun : ) just remember, it's all about starting small and working your way up. Also, keep your arms inside the cart when ya fall, and try to scrape yourself up off a landing as quickly as possible so you don't get landed on by someone else! I would use 960p 100fps or 1440p 48fps on a hero4 silver for park riding!
Dude you are a beast! So amp'd up for the season. Hopefully SoCal will get a couple of storms this year! This vid definitely has me ready to shred, or at least try haha keep up the great work!
Hell yeah!! There's nothing like being super high.. In the air! Just remember to work your way up to the big stuff! That shit will play you out real quick if you aren't committed
That was sick man, i just recently moved to Colorado and started snowboarding hopefully ill get that good one day, also trying to get go pro and post videos
The editing with the cube for the Gopro logo is awesome and a first that I have ever seen! Would you be able to direct me to a place to figure out how to do this one?
thanks Hayden Brackett I'll try to direct you the best I can! you'll need to create a vector image in Illustrator first. Then, you put that vector .ai file into After Effects. It's easier to create the basic motions in Classic 3D mode. it's all keyframe movement of the .ai file. you'll need to then switch to 'Ray Traced 3D' mode. extrude the pieces of the ai file to make them have depth, create an environment layer out of the video you want to reflect off the cube. set the cube and logo to reflect. create a floor under the logo for the reflection off the ground. I'm doing this on a Macbook Pro with a 2.7 ghz quad, 16gb ram, and a geforce 650m with CUDA enabled in After effects. That's the abridged version I guess. This logo took me about 4-5 hours to create, and another 6-8 to render. you need a pretty decent machine to be able to make these, and having a Nvidia card with CUDA enabled really really helps.
Wow that is very intense! I may start working on those edits now so that I will have it ready for when I film in february! Thank you very much for the help!!!
Hayden Brackett word up! yeah, 3D motion graphics aren't the easiest, and require some prerequisite knowledge of illustrator and keyframing. I just watched tons of tutorials, and that was maybe after 3-4 weeks after I got into doing those types of motion graphics
I got to ride there a bunch 2 seasons ago! those hike jumps were epic. you can thank bassnectar's label for making it not available on mobile. I did post it on vimeo for your mobile viewing pleasure. link's in the description. you can also use an app like mctube to view it
This is soo good, one of my favorite gopro snowboardclips, good music, sunshine, nice jacket, clean tricks, fantastic slomo! Did you have a kind of wristmount or did ju just hold the camera? They had that Neffjacket on sale so I had to buy it, mango yellow Clwr pants under :)
Daniel B Hell yeah thanks!! I'm using a small handle like the GoPole Grenade Grip and just holding on! How awesome is that jacket?! I feel like I'm on vacation when I wear it
Tim Humphreys Ok, looks like a good grip and a good thing to have, I have telescope pole, and I gonna try it out in a few weeks in Norway, Hemsedal. That jacket just pops out, I got my yellow pants yesterday and it was so nice with the jacket, total colorcontrast :), I´m gonna put out a clip here in about a month, I hope it´s sunny in Norway 27-30 Mars...
Sick edit man!! I'm trying to get good at rails this year, I took a year off after injuring my knee and the confidence is coming back. Any recommendations for beginner rail tricks. I'm gonna try either a 360 off a rail or a frontside nose-slide tomorrow (I'm regular) any tips?? Confidence is a big factor here and just doing it is my problem. I know I can do it most the time...I just don't.
such a sick style man would love to see you shred up at Stevens Pass in Washington sometime. Why isn't this video available on mobile? It needs to be seen.
Yo Greco heyy! i try to angle the camera down a bit.. maybe a 35 degree angle or so. i have to hold my arm out straight, and up a little bit. There camera is pointed out in front of me rather than straight down my arm. when I'm holding my grenade grip, I try to line up the back of my gopro parallel to my proximal phalange bones. It may take a bit of trial and error before you get it, but it's not too hard once you figure out the positioning. you can wifi the gopro to your phone, and look at the video feed to frame it up also
Hey man quick question! I just fot an epic pass for winter and a new drift rocker salmon snowboard. Wondering where you got that sick jacket. Any reply would help. Killer video also!
Been boarding for over 10 years now, I remember watching this when it was just a year old. Thanks for the good reminders of the past man

@@TimHumphreys honestly haven’t went snowboarding since this comment lol but it definitely did helped me try new tricks when I was younger
I personally think this is the best GoPro snowboarding vid on RUclips and don't understand how it could even have a single thumbs down. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us all with your video!

ILOVE THIS. plus your jacket is killer. could you tell me which board and headphones youre using? Thanks!
Michael Lesko Thanks! I'm using some Frends headphones, and a Flow ERA snowboard!
Tim Humphreys I just learned to do rails and your videos make me want to improve. Nice edit, you should be sponsored for sure. :)
