Remy was out of his prime. Spong is my favorite but I used to watch Remy and can see he’s not his former self. Probably would have still lost if they were the same age but he may have been tougher to stop

Remy in his prime would of won in my opinion but of course spong is elite level too with a beautiful style to watch but is not a natural heavyweight.His best fighting weight was around 93 kg and his fights with Nathan Corbett at that weight were so high level, great fighter.

As for spong I spoke with him a lot around 2011 in Facebook when k1 went bankrupt and he told me he wasn't paid for two years from k1 and same for all the other fighters, very humble guy and a big talent that unfortunately had to switch to MMA and then boxing to make a living because kick boxing was in its last legs. Also asked him if he remembered a guy he fought because this guy was from our gym and he said yes and sent his greetings. The guys name is nikos sokolis and was the Greek champion at the time, they fought in Australia if I remember correctly, yeah great guy spong.

I picture prime Bonjasky battering Spong from the outside, frustrating him into rushing his attacks, then tying him up and bouncing knees off his body and head until Spong wilts. I'm willing to accept the possibility I'm just partial to the old k1 guys, but Bonjasky was a serious problem in k1 every fight.
