I used to be just a match guy. Wasn't having the best success. Probably only won 50-60% of my games. Once I added zone drops while still mixing in match coverage I've been winning 90% of my games. Since switching to running multiple styles of defense, through all game modes, I've won 230 games and lost maybe 10-15 games. I've also moved up to the legends division in all madden. So the point I'm making is don't just sit in zone drops or match coverage. You need multiple answers and styles of defense to be more successful.

What package do you use for BNOG? And do you know if you can play a CB in the slot or is there a disadvantage since they are technically out of position?
You don't have to. Zone Drops + Match will make the coverage play the zone drops instead. You can revert to match by hitting the reset audible (turns off zone drops).
I'm not attacking anything u saying but this way complicated! I'm a 178 n 34. I only play cover 4 big nickel, I just keep switching back n forth between sticks n match. I think I played enough games to see all kind of players!
@MrTeezy21 come out in match. If you push y n lb on Xbox that switches you to sticks with is just the play art. It is very confusing for your opponent. Big Nickel G cover 4. You need good safeties, Ravens n Broncos are best
Keep it 100 I just play cover 2, hard flat the corner, put CF back 30 yards and push it to the numbers, then I put a deep 1/3 with the sub lb and line him up over the WR3, then I just play the rest wit my user
definitely not a cage, lol. just quicksnap to the outside wheel. it's wide open, lol. that hard flat doesn't get out there fast enough from where it's coming from. that is literally our first read in bunch vs zone.
Why doesn’t madden just fix this dog shit for a super basic route and running it over and over. Adaptable players and not leaving people wide open being 99 zone and everything

Great tip. A easier way is to play cover 4 match and man up the outside corner on the bunch side with the outside WR on the bunch formation.
