Alright, this is something that was originally what I was going to be doing in the spot where Persona 3 Reload is, before pivoting last second. This might take the spot after the DR3 anime in the rotation, as I'm kind of in a holding pattern with Fate, but I'm not entirely sure. Given the only reason this is going up now is because I need something to upload and I refuse to miss a day the rest of this month, we'll have to see. Given this first episode is going up now though, I will definitely be starting the full playthrough of Chaos;Head Noah soon. As far as the overall Science Adventure Series goes, I want to give it a time, and given Steins;Gate is the second game in the series, even if I end up hating this game, (which is highly unlikely based on the first three hours), I plan to probably go through this series in "order" for the most part, including playing the Steins;Gate games despite having reacted to the anime since I really do love Steins;Gate that much. Nonetheless, there will be breaks in between the games and all that jazz, but yeah, this is a thing. Also, I'll be keeping individual series playlists for the Steins;Gate content, the Chaos;Head/potentially eventual Chaos;Child content, and the other entries, but there will also be a master playlist of everything Sci Adv related I've done in the order I've done it, starting with the Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 anime adaptations, followed by this LP, and whatever comes in the distant future. So yeah, there will be a playlist for this series and for the overall Sci Adv Series in the descriptions of these videos. But yeah, as for when future episodes will begin for this, probably after I finish the Danganronpa 3 anime. Anyways, all that aside, hope you enjoy the teaser for my Chaos;Head LP!
What happened with your Fate let’s play that is preventing you from playing it?

I'm commenting without knowing your situation with it and I don't know if anyone talked to you about the Fate thing, but if the reason for potentially postponing it is the coming of the remaster then I'll say that unless you have your own troubles with the fan version/translation, the only real difference in that remaster as shown with other official Type-Moon projects translations, the official subs will be subpar and or just weird at times

@@ToasterBramus I mean, I'm hypothetically waiting for the official release + the inevitable patch of it really. Because we all know if the translation is subpar, the patch of the official English release will be coming not too far behind it by the fandom.

Dude Chaos;Child is so good you basically read Chaos;Head to get there. Doing C;H but not doing C;C is blasphemy. High recommend that you start it

Chaos;Head is a game in the 'denpa' genre of visual novels, it's a small genre but has a pretty big cult following among VN fans. Some of the most famous denpa games are Higurashi, Subahibi, Jisatsu 101, and Sayonara wo Oshiete - which actually seems to have inspired Chaos;Head.

It's funny that you mention RGU and Evangelion here, actually. I would say a lot of Chaos;Head takes pretty overt inspiration from those two pieces.
I know you said you are playing with the patch but just in advanced i would like to say just in case you should play all of SciADV with the patches as the localization for these games have consistency issues in between eachother with the terminology they use and references to eachother and the CoZ patches help fix that. Just a heads up there. SciADV is my favorite VN series so i am excited to watch this and i hope you enjoy them
Except for Steins Gate since those patches follow its translation as a base. Still nice to get the patch for the quality of life changes.
I look into these on a case-by-case, so I'm sure I would have gotten around to that in god knows how long when I do Steins;Gate. But yeah, I'll keep it in mind. I would have found out regardless down the line though.

YOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I have been waiting for the Steins;Gate VN (especially 0) to enter the rotation, but this is just as exciting! I mean, Sci;Adv peaked at Steins;Gate, but the rest of it is still totally (mostly) worthwhile!
Chaos;Head is one of the wildest story rides I've been on, up there with 13 Sentinels. I normally wouldn't read something like it, nor will I read something like it again (that extreme warning at the start tells you what you need to know), but I don't really regret it.
I think the S;G anime references C;H once or twice, but the VNs connect more and more as the series continues

Ohhh shit its finally happening. Youre not going to regret this, Shark! I cant watch the video in its entirety at this exact moment but god knows im gonna be following this closely! Glad youre using the CoZ patch, thats the definitive way ESPECIALLY for Chaos;Head. I do hope you like this one. It can be a little mixed for people and i can understand why. All SciADV protagonists are pretty bad people but Takuki takes the cake easily. Regardless, Naotaka Hayashi and Chiyomura Shikura are excellent writers and it definitely reflects here. When i first played this like 10 years ago, after i finished i thought "how could it get better than.this??" (And then i played steins;gate). Anyways, looking forward to this officially starting and im hoping its not too long between episodes and between games!

I don't even like Chaos Head Noah, but the fact that you're doing this means there's a potential future where you play Chaos Child, which I consider to be a genuine masterpiece above even the likes of Steins Gate! I hope you enjoy Head regardless Shark. Your reactions are always great.
About the delusion triggers: Green delusions are "good" ones, red delusions are "bad". Not choosing is either a neutral delusion or no delusion. Rather than branching points, they affect Takumi's mental state, which in turn affects how he view and deals with the upcoming situations.
Hell Yeah, I love Chaos;Head. Never played/watched Steins;Gate tho, it's on my list because I wanted to play the game without watching the anime, but never found time for it lol
One thing I find interesting is how this translation has Takumi's character name as Nëidhart, when the original Chaos;Head translation had it's name as Knightheart

@@Blurro I watched Chaos;Head anime back when it aired, despite it being nowhere as good as the VN, I still liked it. I decided to get into the VN later on. By that point, I had heard of Steins;Gate, but since I wanted to get into the VNs I decided not to watch the anime and play the whole Science Adventure series in order. So when I found time, I played Chaos;Head, planning to go to Steins;Gate right after, but got busy and ended up never starting it lol Might as well just wait for Shark now and follow him on this Science Adventure journey xD
