Let hope my son who is studying aerospace engineering and an aero structures engineer for his university rocketry engineering team will one day got a shot of being part of this amazing company.
@@rayngmelb Especially AE, if you don't put in the work, you'll never get there. I've noticed some classmates can assume to know everything, but still end up stumping up somewhere. We don't know everything.
Looking at wanting to join rocket lab, I live in Tasmania. I'm 17 and I love anything rockets and space. I'm constantly doing learning new things and I really want to join rocket lab. Any tips on how to here there?
Maybe a cube-satellite project at a top university, for a specific project. But most of the big telecommunication companies in NZ are foreign owned. But if, say the GeoNet part of our NZ research wanted to put up a GEO satellite for monitoring earthquake zones or volcanic heat signatures, I am sure Rocket Lab could probably design and build and launch it for them.
In the latest announcement by SpaceX, in an address to the SpaceX workers, Elon said that in a couple of years, if Starship goes as planned, then he expects SpaceX will be carrying the payload of 99% of all orbital launches. That leaves a small 1% of the 'Space Pie' for Rocket Lab. I think Rocket Lab's targeted payload size, re-useability and unique Launch Sites, will give them a 'niche' market that will keep the Rocket part of their business going. And the satellite side is a big part of the satellite industry, so I believe Peter Beck has thought this through very well and should be a strong producer of kick stages and satellite builds. Go Rocket Lab.
@garysnider5342 lol, actually it is a publicly traded company. Therefore, I am sure that all the shareholders want to see success and profit. The only way to ensure that is the case is by putting in place the most QUALIFIED PEOPLE to make that happen. Not by meeting a certain quota based on people's color, religion or their preferred partners in bed.
My son is graduating with a 3.75 GPA in mechanical engineering with internships at Lockheed Martin and Delta Airlines He has applied for an internship and a position at RKLB You never gave him a response Save the fluff videos and be professional about how you handle your applicants
Exactly. I can add from my own experience that I've sent a direct inMail message on LinkedIn to their hiring manager, Kristen Corey, who has a 'Hiring' sign on her profile picture. I politely asked if there were any openings in LB. Unfortunately, I received the same result: no response. With hundreds of job offers available, one might think that they are in need of employees.
@@relwalretep In the era of AI, automating processes like sending out rejection emails should be quite straightforward. It would certainly improve the candidate experience by providing closure, don't you think?
Dudes, just buy BTC and you're sons will be just fine, don't have to bother with expensive schools and internships and sh** like that. If it wasn't for that ITAR cr*p I'd join MUSK tomorrow. FOR FREE!
Rooting for you guys! Awesome watching your work
Your effort will be rewarded, at the end of the month.
I suggest they deserve a bonus for that performance 😊
Y’all are awesome and fun to watch progress! Keep on!

I'm studying AE too, it's a cool subject
@@BenGodotDo you find it hard? I mean it is rocket science 😅
@@rayngmelb It's hard, but if you work at it'll become easier
@@BenGodot Up until he got into AE, my son never had to study, now he begins to understand that some things needs hard work.

Would be great to see some updates on testing of Archimedes engine soon. Awesome company!

Archimedes hot fire should be any week now.

@@MottboxWhere did you get information that the Archimedes experiment had a week left?
@@QQQQ-u7q I didn’t say that. Adam Spice (CFO) of RocketLab said hot fire is prob end of April or May.
So I said “it should be any week now”.

I have this idea for a new launch system that involves volcanic activity on Iceland and a lot of steam. What do you think? :D
Strap a helmet & gopro show us how it's done 😂

Hopefully, Peter hired based on skill and intelligence not DEI.
