This has inspired me to look into more pedals and building a pedalboard! I'm a lady who plays bass at her church too, and we actually have the same bass 😊 So far I've only played with my church's Alpha Omega Ultra

Yes. It is cool to have different tones. But what I really like, is that it is set up all of the time and I don't have to hunt for a tuner or a DI.

Have you considered the BOSS EQ-200 ? I use it on my cheap bass but once I turn that bad boy on, it upgrades the sound. I highly recommend it.

My board is home made. Start work TU3 tuner, into Bass Preacher compressor, into MXR DI+. Will probably add OC5 octave pedal, and a chorus to roind out my rig. I have an MXR DC brick to power it. Have input and output Jack's built in. Did alot of research into proper signal chain to get it there.

All is fine, but you should consider putting your fuzz before the input buffer (you have one in your tuner), due to the impedance. Not totally sure about where to put the noise suppressor, maybe after the tuner or the compressor and overdrive is fine as last effect before DI and the DI itself will work as an output buffer 😊

Good stuff! I own probably 30 pedals I've collected over my 30+ years of gigging, and I have 3 pedalboards I have cycled through. These days, I only use the smallest pedalboard, with only three pedals:
    Polytune Tuner pedal
    Sadowsky Preamp
    Keeley Compressor Pro
The Polytune is the best tuner I've used and doubles as my mute switch. The Sadowsky Preamp is for tone shaping (+10% treble, +5% bass). The Keeley Compressor is to even out my pickstyle vs fingerstyle attack/volume. The Keely is my third compressor I've owned and is the best and last I'll ever need. It has LED lights that show you exactly what it is doing - my ears never helped with compressors before - and I get compliments on my even playing and tone.
    Good video, thanks for sharing.

@@realbeal It has been a fixture on my pedalboard since I got it. I just checked again, I should have said +20% treble, +10% bass for my settings. It's been so long since I changed them. It's basically an "always on" pedal for me. The treble and bass boost frequencies are from Roger Sadowsky's 50 years of experience, and they are exactly the frequencies a sound guy would pick for the mix. I get compliments from every sound guy I work with on how easy my bass is to mix, and I have other local musicians come up to me between sets and tell me the bass sounds clear in the mix and really good. I run the Volume at 100%, and when I click the pedal on, I get a slight volume boost with a little more high frequency clarity and a little more oomph on the bottom. Nothing radical, it's a tone sweetener for me. I miss it if the pedal is off. They are built like a tank too - steel chassis and solid button and knobs. Check out sound demos around You Tube if you are interested. They're a little pricey, but worth it to me. Sweet tone.

Very glad to see you didn't use the solid links, they're just a good way to spend money to break your pedals over time. It may just be because it's a phone recording, but your overdrive seems to be cutting a lot of low-end out of your tone as well, it might be worth looking at something more bass-specific? Unless that's the sound you're going for, of course.
It also might be worth looking at a different power supply as well, I've been running Harley Benton supplies on my boards for years now, they're manufactured for Thomann by Palmer, who've been a solid name for a long time, and you'd likely have an easier time getting it mounted under your board as well, which'd let you fit the Clone on the board without issue.
In terms of my board, I'm in the middle of a rebuild currently, but my signal chain is looking like this: Wireless/Backup lead into an AB/Y>Joyo Scylla compressor>Boss DD-7 with an expression pedal>Line 6 HX Stomp XL>Stereo outputs that I'm running through high pass filters at around 30Hz and then into a DI box, that goes straight to the mixer with parallel outputs going to my amps for stage sound. Both the HX and my wireless have tuners built in, so I'm covered there as well.
Oh, and a Joyo Monomyth as a backup, in case something catches fire.

Good shout on the solid connectors. I bought a couple just to see what they're about. They don't take up any less space than the regular pancake cable, and I found them both breaking within 3 months, luckily not while inside a pedal. They're junk.

i love my ns 2 for guitar but ive never used the loop function. i just placed it after my overdrive and fuzz pedals seems to work pretty well but maybe ill try it the other way. i just have a one spot powering 6 pedals daisy chained off the ns2. all of these are before my amp an i dont notice a ton of noise, because i also have a multi effects rp300 and secondary noise suppression in my fx loop. i mainly use the multi fx unit for delay reverb volume pedal, and modulation. the noise gate is pretty nice too when i have my amp driven by my tube screamer into my big muff adn octave pedal. it can be super loud.

I had a problem similar to this, pedals are sensitive to ground problems, for me it was the loose jack on my bass, I brought my new pedals back where I bought them only to find out it was my bass the whole time
