hey Rob! Glad to see your video. I've quit doing videos until I get out there full time, then I think it will be just for my memories and for friends and family. I got tired of chasing the views and just want to create videos so I'll have my experiences on video. (I can re-watch my life when I'm too old to travel). Anyway, I looked you up to see if you were still doing videos and see this one. Mexico sounds like an amazing adventure. Enjoy (or re enjoy) Mexico! Keep posting videos so we can keep in touch. Hi Crystal. Yep, RUclips has such crazy ways of pushing your videos out. You see so many mediocre videos that get thousands of views while other really good videos get just hundreds or less. We too have given up on trying to attract viewers. We now will just post videos when we feel we have content that we wish to share. We are finishing up our current Workcamping job in the Colorado Rockies and headed for the winter to Napa Valley, CA for another job for the winter before moving to Mexico. We will probably do another video about this. Hopefully when you get on the road you will do more content. I really like your approach and sorry that RUclips prefers to promote others with less talent.

It’s good to see you posting again. I wondered what happened to y’all. You two have to make the best decisions for yourselves, but I can’t help but thinking you want to have your own living quarters when you go to Mexico. Independence is the key.
Cool! A while back I was thinking with gas prices rising and other costs going up I thought many would do this lifestyle down in mexico...although the residence requirements seem to change regarding 💰💰💰 still appears worth while as currenty the US dollar is 20.5 to 1 Peso...
Great point! Marvy has dual- citizenship and I am a Permanent Resident of Mexico. So for us, it is an easy move.

Glad to see your back but I am sorry to see you leave this lifestyle. I know you said you will continue in a different form but it will not be the same. But you are doing what you have to do so I understand.
That's the plan! But I think we will still be in the van for maybe another year. It looks like we have a new work camping job in Napa Valley starting in November.

I thought about you often but didn't give up on you and Marvy. I’m thrilled that you’re well and making plans for the future. I live in my van full time in my hometown of Minneapolis and I’ve been wondering about moving to Mexico. I agree the cost of living is atrocious here in the states not to mention the political insanity. Wishing you and Marvy well and I’ll be awaiting your next video. Be well and take care.

Hi Terry, no, I can't really tell you any changes. I don't have any insights to Kodiak or their designs. However you know if something ain't broke don't fix it. I can't imagine a model, a design that's been successful for them and other companies for years and years and years why they would change it. I know if you go to their website they've got quite a few different varieties of tent designs. I guess the best thing to do is figure out exactly what you want and look to see if they have a product that's going to match what you want and or what you need. Best of luck.
Well, well. From your two Covid posts at the beginning of the year, I had a feeling you were becoming burnt out. I think this is the wisest decision you could make. If you will accept one small suggestion, I would encourage you and Marvy to live the rest of your lives, and stop documenting them. You may find that, being released from the pressure of having to make content for social media, you might become more relaxed and free. I recommend journaling (or blogging) as a superior way to document your experiences. Please be well.
Yes, this is something we have thought about. Just posting on our Facebook: facebook.com/rob.andmarvy/ or maybe also, just post periodically also on our RUclips channel. But after three years and over 100 videos, we have only 2000 subscribers and that is too much work for such a low subscriber reate. And though we love and appreciate our subscribers, we also will be prioritizing having more private time.
I hope you will enjoy living down there again and with the lower cost of living, are more comfortable financially.
