I really tried to balance them all, though it's difficult because some obviously have more screen time than others but just know I love each and every one of them and can't wait to see more in Season 3!

@@SingingSealRiana and personally I think what makes them seem different from other "girl boss" type characters is that they're not "men suck so we have to do everything" types. they all work together in a lot of cases to achieve a goal, and the strengths of each individual character is allowed to come through.

Look, I enjoyed every one of the SW sequels, but did anyone ever notice that every single female character in them was controversial whereas every lady in other SW media is beloved?? The women in The Mandalorian are freaking awesome!
It's called character GROWTH... The other movies need to compact restrict or loose character growth for some reason... TV shows grow the characters over time. Like for Padme Ashoka and now these lovely badass women

these are strong women that I can believe in and can support. They simply ARE strong independent women because its who they are and not what some SJW measuring stick says they are supposed to be. Not because most of them could kick my ass with one hand tied behind their backs while wearing a blindfold...but because their spirit is strong, their will is strong, their belief in themselves is strong and their desire to be treated equally isn't something they whine and scream about its simply a given based on who they are and how they carry themselves. This is how you create strong female characters. We SW fans do not hate Rey because she is a woman, is because she is so PERFECT without any growth or development. Great video!!!!

@@OtakuAfterHours that two, but flawed characters can be just as flat if they are not well written. Characters need contrast, little things that look contradictory at first facetts to be intressting. Even if they are not perfect, if their flaws are just as one dimensional it does not help one bit.
I love how there's as much (if not more) women in this show than man. It's so refreshing to finally see that on television AND that all of them are badass 3dimensional women as well!?! And diffrlerent from one another!?! That is impeccable writing

HOT. DAMN ! I'd rather watch a show about any and all of these girls (yes, even the frog lady), rather than a show about Rey.
The women of the Mandalorian are how you have strong, independent women in a big franchise, without overshadowing the main protagonist, and have them play important roles in your story in a perfect "show, don't tell" way. And most importantly, without pushing feminism forwards for evey single action they have.
If Rey had been made with the same love Dave and John gave when creating these characters, she would have been a lot more successfull.

I'm kinda irritated by social media posts especially at Twitter with the same "Women of the Mandalorian" and they do not include Cara Dune as if she didn't exist.
It annoys me how there are illustrations and posts that hate on the character, like yeah, we get it, you don't like Gina because she posted something you do not agree with, but they got to a point that the toxicity has reached to the character itself, which is completely separate from the actress.
Don't get me wrong, I respect Gina regardless of her views, whether she's wrong or not, I don't think she deserves that kind of hate and being cancelled.

I liked all the women in the show. They did a really good job at writing convincing characters. It didn't feel forced. It felt like the writers put extra care in constructing the characters first, and not constructing them around their sex.

I dont know why feminist complain there no strong women on the show when clearly they are right in front of us the whole time. To me they dont need to show how tough they are. They just have to be memorable and they sure are in my eyes.
Only shame is that you didn’t wait till season 3 of Mando came out, Bo Katan, Kosha and the Armorer had some great moments. Still, great video, keep it up.

@@kathymolnar8507 and we have a year to play this out in our heads....!!!! I see Din as more of a Steward to the throne than the actual ruler. It's really not his bag. I also don't see him tied to any of the obvious.... I do know there's a strong bond between him & Cara and stronger than just comraderie, but to me it's a deep bro-sis thing. Of course, we can't see his face when he gazes on any of these women, watching this and another video that had clips of both seasons, he's really riveted on a woman with mystery skills
