Thank you very, very much for all this work. I do not read music like a book so, listening again and again help me a lot ! : ).
Hello from France : ) ; )
I love this... learning it is so much easier this way..thanks a lot for posting
2:23 There is differences in "Unto Us a Child is born."
In the second system, (Page 72, in the Messiah Book)
the soprano sings "And the government shall be ***Shall Be*** upon his shoulders.
In my messiah book, it only does "shall be" once. Maybe I'm on the wrong version, I didn't know there was many versions.
Thank you so much

do you think you could add dynamic markings?
I wish someone would post a rehearsal aid that slows down the melismas.
www.chordperfect.com/handels-messiah-soprano-chorus-rehearsal-aid/ has pitch control
@@Chord-Perfect the soprano has too much vibrato & slowing her down only made it worse. She's singing it as if it were a solo. In a group, precision is key. No sliding up to notes & such. Thank you though. This has made it easier to take cues from the other parts where as midi practice sites don't offer that, but I'll have to stick with leaning by midi to get the notes down.
@@crazylablady In this case, she's singing alone, only for demonstration, so it's a solo part in this case.
@@crazylabladyexactly what I was thinking
@@CarlosHernandez-bu2lkyes but this track is literally made for the purpose of teaching

There's a detail in the word "child". Why the "d" sound is not pronounced in the melisma? Is not "cháili" , but "cháildis": "fooruantu as a cháildis boon", the soprano is making a mistake in that part, and I don't like the voice of the baritone, it seems to me he's learning to sing. It has to be well pronounced, if not, it's anything. That's my opinion.
Hate to say it, the melismas are sloppy.
That's why I don't like the baritone voice.
Can you send a better one, I was told to score this
