Later in the office, I work mostly analysing the architectural and the structural plans for estimating materials. My role is mostly based as a construction engineer.
I spent a lot of time communicating with the subcontractors often negotiating their asking price. Being an engineer, it is our role to minimise the financial cost of a project.
