- Marx trains have been in my family for three generations. My Dad had them as a boy, my brothers and I had them and now my nephew who inherited the two trains featured in this video from my older brother who received them from our Dad. Both Dad and my brother are gone now, but there memory lives on every time we run these trains.
Fun fact a $9.99 train set in 1960 would cost over $93.00 in 2024!
Doesn't inflation suck?
Sorry that my finger was in the frame when I started up the trains.
i still enjoy running my marx trains as much as my old lionels
Wonderful share friend
Happy 100 th to your dad. Trains make memories and history. They are a time machine.
Thank you and well said.
We had a Joe the Motorist's Friend in Cumberland, MD, when I was a kid.
From what I could find out about Joe's stores, they were a lot like the old Western Auto stores.
Hey John, We had Western Auto here, it was the coolest store with all kinds of really neat stuff.
