Land-Based Education and the Papal Encyclical Laudato si’ (Praise Be To You)

Through his research project, Mel Sysing, a Saskatoon teacher, wanted to see what impact moving education beyond the four walls of the classroom would have on his students. His research project, Land-Based Education and the Papal Encyclical Laudato-si, shows how Catholic and Indigenous pedagogies can work together to support student learning. This project was funded by the McDowell Foundation.
