I decided to try a new editing style for this video, mostly trying to cut down on the parts and points that I've already explained in my previous videos. This video specifically had no commentary because I wanted to see how people like shorter and concise videos like this one with just the important parts of the game and more Nilah teamfights etc. Please let me know what you think! Always love nilah since it came out, it reminded me a little of samira when she came out, I use to play cc ADCs like Ashe or Jhin, but I must say playing nilah is so much fun, your gides are really helpful!
They really ruined Samira by removing her E to allies. Regardless of power level it makes the champion feel so one-note and removes half her skill expression.
I enjoy your content anyway it is made! Commentary or maybe like this is so good, I learned a lot from this video and all of your vids in general! I really like Nilah and you are teaching players like me with some amazing content!
Great Video, I like the new style just as much as the old one! I'd say do which ever is more confortable for you :D. Maybe you could add a little analysis in the begining of the video where you highlight which runes and build you want to go against the enemy champions (for example why the tabi rush or eclipse vs prowlers or navori over defensive). what is happening XD, very relatable team, the problem i see with lethality is that u have less room for mistakes and u get 1 shot from anything, but i can respect the playstyle
This video was a good one, but I definitely prefer the voiceover editing. Main reason being, I can focus on the action of the game and absorb what you're saying at the same time, versus having to look away from what's happening to read or even pause/rewind to see what happened in the split second I looked away at the text. That being said there is still a lot of good info here, and it may be even better for non-English speakers who may struggle to understand the language verbally. Just a couple things to consider, from someone who hasn't played league in years and just likes to watch it for fun and learn new things about the game and new characters that came out after I stopped playing.
What overlay are you using for your map and scoreboard? Been trying to get into playing nilah and just improving in general and your guided and vods are really helping

I have been spamming the peel build (essence reaver) and it works good but I do receive quite a bit of flame. I don't really care that I am being flamed, but why do you think essence reaver is more impactful than ravenous? Thanks.

Yeah it's a bug, the best way to avoid it is to just not do it but sometimes you have to because its a better choice, if you're afraid of missing the q in early fights I would say just EQ
I really prefer the commented editions of your videos, with more content and a little longer video... One question: What is the big difference in gameplay when playing with this lethality build? Whenever I try to do it I feel like I have a little more damage at the cost of losing A LOT of defense
Not too sure what defense Nilah would be losing tbh, shieldbow shield + ravenous lifesteal? With the same logic, eclipse provides shield + damage + movespeed. Ravenous can be replaced by bloodthirster easily, so it's not like we're losing out on like 50 armor. With the lethality build you can also go defensive after 3 items which allows Nilah to damage as well as survive. If you really need something like a hexdrinker early you can also buy that with the lethality build, something that you can't buy if you have shieldbow

I feel like my understanding of nilah has increased a lot thanks to your videos. Do you know if using nilah's q during nilah's e makes the q follow the target like qiyana q during her e or is it like samira q during her e and it only follows your own character model?
Nilah's Q cooldown stays the same regardless of ability rank, and it only gains 5 damage per rank up + deals more damage with more AD but we don't have too much of that early game anyways. However, If we max E first we get drastically shorter cooldown and more guaranteed damage per every E use.
I heard Prowler's Claw is getting removed, will the safe Nilah build become the only option? Niece has talked about it coming from a reliable source, Riot Phreak. Apparently the item lacks counterplay to ADC players like Phreak.
I will definitely be making a video with other options IF Prowler's is eventually removed! However I don't think that Prowler's is really that unhealthy for the game. People always complain that champions like Rek'sai can just knock an ADC up for free and it's broken. But like... I haven't seen a Rek'sai this entire season? So it's kind of odd.
Personally, I really like the talking, and I don't mind if you repeat yourself. It's not like I can watch the video once and perfectly understand or remember the words/ideas, right? Seeing the same ideas in different contexts helps, I reckon.
Mainly because their top side champions are all melee fighters that makes Eclipse good, but also because their bot lane isn't a threat to me as Twitch was not fed at all and I could just block his autos with my W.

kinda new to playing nilah and being low elo i generally stick to ezreal because of inactive support any one yall have any pointers how i could pull her off even with that factored in
for some reason i have a harder time playing with nilah. Last match I had a brand samira botlane and I was nilah braum xD it was atrocious and I didn't know how to bounce back from it because the enemies didn't leave me to farm on the lane ever. Brand with E W just deals half my health.
Yeah I would say that it might be on the braum for not catching the opportunity to go on the brand since the matchup can be hard braum vs mage support. However, I dont know how the game went so I can't really say. My best advice is when you play against champions that rely on skill shots, always keep in mind to dodge their skill shots before last hitting minions

Don't go lethality if you have an enchanter support and the enemy have a ton of burst damage. You might want to build more defensively. But even then, with lethality build you can build death's dance 4th and you'll have damage and survivability
Yeah except the account started in plat 4 or something and just skipped all the way to D1, I don't think this is uncommon nowadays with fresh accounts no? By the time you are done with provisionals you're playing against diamond players already anyways
Doesn't scale well, the best thing about the item is the Sheen damage + mana, but you will just have more damage going lethality and the mana part is negligible, once you get used to playing Nilah you won't run into mana problems often
I get Lol Dobby vibes from the editing. - I'd say keep the text in the same location always so we don't have to guess where it'll be, add a drop shadow and make the text larger (easy in Movavi). - I personally like your commentary more than the text so maybe a hybrid of both. - I can also say from experience you retain more viewers on youtube generally when you have commentary instead of just background music. - I do like shorter videos as they're easier to digest. - It would help if you added time stamps for laning phase, mid game, end game so we know what part of the game you're at. - It would also be nice to see how you analyze a losing game and what you would do differently Either way big fan!

I like both ways tho, this one is more concise, but the previous way provides much more knowledge in my opinion.

no, the q follow the E direction after a short delay is really easy to miss that.

Why u don’t build essence river on nilah ?
