I think your content has a positive impact to the culture of skateboarding. I haven't skated in almost 15 years. I still watch skateboarding everyday and your content is refreshing. Its good to see older skaters who may not be as experienced or skilful but still going for it and not caring what others think. Hopefully I could muster the courage to do the same one day. I do miss skateboarding.
Thanks! Really appreciate the comment. I am actually hyper-conscious of what others think (hence very often not wearing a helmet), but I’m getting better at not giving a s***
Walking past southbank for years watching people skate and being fascinated by it, now i can say i've skated it. Its was a bucket list thing, now its staple! Great representation of SB in this vlog 🔥
That place looks awesome. There is something similar under a bridge in Manchester that I need to try. Don't worry about filming... making videos is a big part of skate culture (although I know it's weird talking to the camera in public) and people like me need vids like this to scratch the itch when we can't get out 😆. If someone is skating the same spot as me I usually ask if they mind, or if its children I put the camera away. In my opinion skating is about expression, inclusion and just doing your thing. Loving these vids mate 👍
I’d love to skate south bank one day. I would feel a little intimidated too man. That’s a beautiful shiner you’ve got mate! Live and learn… once you’ve hit your head once the chances of his happening again are pretty slim so keep your chin up! I’m sayin this from my experience and not from watching you… but we tend to be a little gun shy for the fear of falling. The more we skate the stronger we get. Gotta throw ourselves around from time to time! Easier said than done I know. Whenever I skate with any sort of fear or lack of form I just get worse. Vicious cycle mate. I think you’re doing great man… keep working your way up and it will start to click slowly! Ollies looking alright man don’t stress…. Takes a solid year or two before they click! Just gotta remember to pop hard and clean! Lift that back foot as high as poss. It’s all about getting the back foot and knee up. Deck will only go as high as the back foot let’s it. Front foot just levels 👊 bring your front foot back a little and will bring your feet slightly closer together giving you more ability to get some height. Hope that helps… I hate advice sometimes lol
Made me incredibly happy at 9:34 seeing your face light up doing those freestyle tricks🤣
😁 note to self... do more things that make me smile!

Great video man! What camera are you using for these vids?
Thank you so much. I jump between my iPhone and my Sony A7C, but mostly this one was on the Sony.
Thanks dude!
