MJ was suffering. In silence. Because nobody wanted to understand. If Michael would’ve had the support he has now, he would’ve suffered a lot less. Mike indeed got his nose done once because he didn’t wanna look like his father which he openly admitted in a phone conversation as well as his Book Moonwalker. But then the lupus took over and he had to go through multiple reconstructive surgeries which led his nose to become smaller over time. And yes, his skin became VERY sensitive to the Sun which is why he always carried an umbrella with him! MJ actually donated at least a Billion or more to charities! He’s listed in the Guinness book of world records as the most charitable Pop Star of all time! 20% of his money since his death is still going to charities! That was one of his last wishes!

I was a fan of Him and that was a moment when I decided to B a psychologist. Actually many many years later I met MJ and we talked for years...it happened in 2006..but its a long story. Can you imagine him with pronounced patches all over his skin in the 80s and 90s when people were still ignorant af...they were already calling him weird and freak at the point of BAD where his looks were noticeably different to Thriller. Michael wanted to be the best for his people....he knew blacks had not been given their flowers despite the fact they were the best in the industry, and the greats that were crowned like the Beatles and Elvis took a lot of creativity from black culture and music. I think towards the end of the 90s doctors started messing with his face. He was basically being hunted, and I wouldn't be surprised if people were paid to pull a number on him. God rest his soul. I have an aunt who also struggles with vitiligo on my dads side. It hurts me to see how much Michael is made fun of. My aunt has been struggling with this condition for over a decade. When she was around my age, she got diagnosed with vitiligo. She never felt like herself. She was harassed and teased so much over it. It’s just sad…
I have wanted to change my nose for the longest, I understand him perfectly. When I was little I was the cutest little girl, professional photographers wanting me to be in photoshoots and comerciales. Everyone in my family adored me, then when I grew up and started changing, my nose looked bigger, the called me big nose,witch, tucan etc. I was a very loving and outgoing kid, that completely shattered my confidence, people don’t sit to think how a something as simple as a word can affect someone. People in your own family calling you this mean things, then they wonder why you changed and aren’t the same happy go lucky person. When I hit puberty and got acne it was worst, I hated myself and covered it with makeup, I would have rather died than let them be for everyone to see. People looking at you and saying ewww, that hurts. Even as an adult my boyfriend’s mom and sister were like; you are so pretty! when they met me but later I catch them looking at me and making signs to comment about my nose being on the bigger side.

MJ had it rought like no other artist, the fake allegations that has been debuked time and time again for the easy money, the burns on his head that cause him chronic pain and baldness, that is why from during the Bad era onwards he had to resort to wigs, his vitiligo that brought the mockery from the media since the late 80's to even this day while being one of the most humble and charitable people who has walked the earth, it's just sad

This video actually misses a detail. He lost his eyebrows and eyelashes due to alopecia from lupus forcing him to get permanent tattooed makeup. While yes he changed a lot throughout his life overall, the media still reinforced the narrative that he was ever-changing and had hundreds of surgeries. Not true. As a black person myself, and I kinda have his nose shape before his vitiligo. I know that I used to want his nose shape because when I saw pictures of him when he was younger I thought that he was beautiful. Even when he was a teen, I still wanted his nose so bad. But I'm happy with my nose now, I just wanted his nose because I thought it would make me beautiful just like him.
And about the vitiligo, I think he should have been a little open about his vitiligo.
It's crazy to think about where he was from a child to how he is today 🫶🏾

He bought half Sony catalogue and was profiting off if white people's music like Elvis and Beatles, and was breaking records left, right and centre. I understand what MJ was going through totally. My dad was mixed and I am dark-skinned. He would call me ugly and black, ask me why I was so dark, and actually tell me he thinks my mom must've cheated on him because I don't look like his side of the family. Mind you, my mom is dark skinned. I was 7 or 8 years old at the time and to this day, I don't believe ppl when they tell me I'm beautiful. That stuff stays with u, especially when it comes from your parent.

I know with lupus it literally makes you allergic to the sun and lupus and vitiligo are both autoimmune diseases. My daughter has lupus and cannot go in sun. Even with medication she will get that rash on her. It’s even painful. She wears a mask due to low tolerance her body has to diseases. It affects your organs also. Having vitiligo with that I cannot imagine the pain he was in. It affects every joint in your body. My daughter is 22 and walks with cane. I don’t know how he put up with the mental abuse too. No wonder he got addicted to pain meds. Trying to help people and being called a pedophile is so horrible. We must stick up for Michael Jackson every way we can. It’s the least we can do.

That’s what I’ve read too. But honestly, he was a 20-something guy with unprecedented worldwide fame, severe skin disorders waiting to be discovered by the world, a genius mind with insecurities, ambition, brilliant ideas, isolation, and god knows what all else in it. So I’m not judging him foe nothing. I feel barring the 2000-01 painkillers period, he always looked great. And his artistic legacy is unmatched.
I really hate to look in the mirror at public places. I avoid them. Malls especially the cosmetics section I hate looking at my face.
