This album is top tier to me. Def top 10 for 2001 hip hop releases imo. There's lot of dope songs here, bangers after bangers, but if I have to pick one then my go to is Cheese And Dope. Love that song
Even tho I'm a big fan of this album, I think I might like Ghetty Green just a bit more. I think I just prefer it song for song. Also what I said about Mista Don't Play being top 10 from its year, def applies to Ghetty Green as well imo. To me it's absolutely up there (no pun intended) with the best of 1999
I love Pat's first 2 albums and also that Murderers & Robbers compilation that was released in between. I gotta relisten to Layin' Da Smack Down tho, its been a minute and I gotta check out some of his albums after that. I've heard good things about his comeback album (the one he relased after getting outta jail).
