10. The trailer looks promising.. But, the fact that the movie is found footage, it doesn't give a creepy element to it. It looks like the movie is gonna be overwhelmed by jumpscares, and them thrown around without a reason.. They can make the movie very dull, very fast. 9. This movie is very good. It gives chills from the start and the tension never lets up until the very end. The jumpscares are placed strategically, they are not thrown around all over the place. Once the scares get started, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The nun is very frightening and the entire movie leaves an impression on you. The question that's always asked about this movie is.. Does it surpass the 1st. Yes and no. It slowly builds the tension which is something the 1st didn't do. But, on the same note, the 1st jumped into the thick of it. 8. Looks pretty intense. But, it shows what can happen if someone is that sick and likes to screw with people. It looks like it was inspired by The Strangers a little too much. The fact that she's not able to scream, she's not able to hear makes this a little messed up. Someone to target her because she has these disabilities. Its interesting, but in today's society.. It will not get a good review because of the sheer reality of the situation. 7. This looks good. The concept is so good. Breaking into a house of a man who no one knows what kind of atrocities he's committed. Its interesting in that in order to survive, they can't breathe out loud. But, when the lights cut off, its almost impossible not to breathe loudly. But, the morale of the story is don't rob those who may have a known record of killing people or.. Imprisoning them in the basement. Locking them in the house, he knew someone was there besides the one he killed. It looks scary, it looks intense and it looks like it jumps straight to the point, which is good in a horror movie.. Don't screw around and get to it. 6. I'm not so sure about this one. Its another movie about a shark, in that its one of those that is unlikely to happen. To say this could happen, is to say people could genetically alter a mako shark like in Deep Blue Sea. A shark is not likely to stalk anyone on a rock, it'll take one bite and leave. There's so many things wrong with this one and saying that.. It does not look appealing to me. 5. Cheesy.. Very cheesy. Proper, prissy women killing zombies. Its a bad concept and a very bad movie. Its not any good. The zombies look like recycled zombies from the old zombie movies back in the 70's. The story is not there, the women.. Its not believable and they're don't seem to be a real threat to the zombies. 4. Its like another version of Child's play, but with a porcelain doll. It seems incredibly stupid and in that, the way the doll moves, its the same as Child's play. Its the same concept as Child's play, except for the whole possession parts. Its not hard to see the similarities in this and doll movies of the past. 3. Not interesting.. It takes too long for it to get interesting, the concept isn't there and the characters.. You could care less about them. There's entirely too much dialogue for it to get interesting. 2. It doesn't look that bad. A story is told to a child who looks into it.. Good job to the older brother. The whole story of the creatures in the rocks and they curse those who look into them and those who explore their area. Its a good concept in that exploring a place that you are unaware of and are unaware of what legends are there, is a good message. The morale of the story.. Don't meddle. 1. It follows the same stupid storyline as the 1st. The 1st movie was terrible, and this one isn't that good. The story is bland, the scares are boring and the movie is overall.. Not very good. Note: I give harsh comments to movies with no story, bad concepts and no good ideas. If a movie is a gore fest, remember.. Gore does not make a horror movie. The one thing that does.. Story. A horror movie is like a is horror game. Atmosphere, music and story are the most important parts of both, if they don't have that, they don't have anything that's good.
My thoughts on all these films The Woods/Blair Witch sucked. The last 10 minutes were pretty scary but the rest is so boring. The Conjuring 2 was great. It has really great suspense and only uses jump scares when it serves a purpose. Hush was really good. It had really great moments of suspense. It also had smart jump scares Don't Breathe has the best suspense of any of the films of this year. The suspense is breathtaking. Also have very little jump scares. The Shallows takes the crown for scariest shark film. It has great suspense that it never dies. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is one of the most stupid horror films I have ever seen. I don't know how this is considered a horror film. The boy is one of the better doll films out there. It has descent suspense at its disposal and even gives you chills at some points. The twist ending sets it apart from the average doll film. The Neon Demon sucks. It has very poor story line and very underdeveloped characters. The Darkness is so stupid. Most of the scares are terrible and the film doesn't have any moments of suspense. It's a waste of time to see. 10 Cloverfield Lane is so intense. The suspense will kill you. It is a twisted physiological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
I disagree. Horror films are finally being smart about suspense and jump scares. Don't Breathe, Lights Out, The Conjuring 2, Hush, The Babadook, Good Night Mommy, The Shallows, The Boy, The Witch, 10 Cloverfield Lane and Insidious. Hollywood might finally be listening to us!
I've seen more horror movies than anyone else so I consider myself to be somewhat of an authority on the matter lol. Yes the autopsy of jane doe is very good however there are some movies that I've recently seen that I think are even scarier. The Witch, Hereditary, Get Out, Evil Dead (remake), Room 1408, Reeker, Stir of Echoes and The Exorcsim of Emily Rose are the scariest I have ever seen. As far as older movies are concerned the scariest are The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original from 1974), Madman, Nightmare on Elm Street, Terror Tract, In Dreams, Blair Witch Project, Candyman, and . The single movie with by far the most realistic, gruesome and scary death scene ever made is BackCountry. Best horror comedies are The Final Girls and Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Two movies that win high points and great favour with me due to them containing the only scenes I'm aware of where babies are either threatened with violence or actually killed are The Toxic Avenger, and Dawn of The Dead. ONe last movie that also wins my heart is Maximum Overdrive, which is the only movie I'm aware of containing a scene where a child gets flattened like a pancake by a steam roller. That scene alone makes the movie worth watching.
Pretty accurate list and opinions! Thanks for using your time to give us information too! I have copied your comment to watch the certain movies because we have similar movie likings! :)
Mister Random Top10 I guess for some people. When I was a wee lad I used to get scared and that's how I fell in love with the horror genre. Since then I've been a fan and trying to recapture that feeling but alas for the past like 8 years haven't been able to. Now I mostly watch them for their stories and dark nature. I have a slight glimmer of hope that one day another one will arise to get my heart beating like that little child long ago.
Nice list, but I'd have definitely included _Lights Out_ and _The VVitch_ (which is an excellent film more people should know about). _Pride & Prejudice & Zombies_ looks fucking gash. Like, seriously shite.
My precise words: "I'd have definitely included _Lights Out_ and _The VVitch_ (which is an excellent film more people should know about)." The parenthesis follows _The VVitch_, not _Lights Out_, so obviously refers to _The VVitch_ rather than _Lights Out_. A child would be able to understand this. Are you still struggling?
It's funny how you turned this into in insult for absolutely no reason even though it wasn't mean in anyway. Your parents must be proud of you mister serious
Hush was very good but I never understood why anyone would want to live isolated in the middle of a forest? One thing in the day would be eerie but I would die from fright at night lol.
Yeah I was expecting _Lights Out_ to be number 1. I adore the original short and was really worried when I heard they'd made a film (I just assumed it would be shite!) but it actually looks scary as hell. Looking forward to seeing it even though I know I'll crap myself!

I have to agree.
the boy is actually a really good one, there's a twist that makes it different from child's play.
My thoughts on all these films
The Woods/Blair Witch sucked. The last 10 minutes were pretty scary but the rest is so boring.
The Conjuring 2 was great. It has really great suspense and only uses jump scares when it serves a purpose.

I agree with harry tbh
most of them have. are the shame ghost moving stuff it's boring 💤
THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE IS THE BEST HORROR MOVIE IVE EVER AND IVE SEEN ALOT

Yes.. that one is clear horror movie..
Candyman was one hell of a movie. Loved it @@shaunbarnett2972
Possession of Hannah Grace is great too
sbarnett37tiger Barnes you cannot be serious about Room 1408 or The Exorcism of Emily Rose they weren’t that bloody scary at all
Don't Breathe was amazing.
the shallows is not a horror movie more like a thriller
Yea, I agree. I know that my comment is kinda late, but ye, I agree
10 Cloverfield Lane is not horror, suspense, sci-fi and fantasy. The Conjuring 2 is horror.
It's a lost genre. Horror, is hard to find these days.
Holly Golightly is thriller movie you idiot
@@alansharick6245 Clueless google noob.

Idk what's more scary the trailers or the voice that pops up announcing the numbers.
yeah theres a lot of people finding the voice scary haha. i can just say that that wasnt the purpose with it haha
Very true 😁
Aweeeee, when you have watched every movie on this roundup and don't have any new suggestions to go after..🙋😓😂
Intrested in more top 10 Horor movies? here's another list! ruclips.net/video/cO0ymMpKJho/видео.html
The boy was not scary at all
my personal reccomendation:
Incarnate, when a boy gets possesed by a demon, it's up to an exorcist to try and save him before his death
THE BOY WAS A GOOD "SUSPENSE" "THRILLER" I LOVED IT YOU SHOULD WATCH IT IF YOU'RE READING THIS
Nice little song at the end lmao
haha yeah i thought it would fit ^^
i was like wtf
Them flute skills! xD
Khushan Leitan lol😂😂
Must be something wrong with me as I didn’t think any of these movies were scary in the least.
The Conjuring 2 ❤❤❤❤
No The Wailing? No Under the Shadows? No Lights Out?
Lights Out is literally one of the best horror movies i've watched. very unique
The music at the end killed me after all this trailers :D
I've seen conjuring 1 and 2 I live them they are making conjuring 3 I can't wait
well this order sucks... how could dont breathe be more scary than conjuring 2... conjuring 2 must be the 1st
i agree
that depends on what you are looking for in a horor movie!
can a movie really be scary tho?
haha yeah i would say so ^^
Mister Random Top10 I guess for some people. When I was a wee lad I used to get scared and that's how I fell in love with the horror genre. Awesome list just don't get how that movie ppz made your list.
Nice list, but I'd have definitely included _Lights Out_ and _The VVitch_ (which is an excellent film more people should know about).
_Pride & Prejudice & Zombies_ looks fucking gash. Like, seriously shite.
yeah I fell the same
agree - great list & thought lights out was going to be mentioned but still most on that list i enjoyed watching.
lights out trailer has 15mil views, pretty sure everyone knows about it xD
My precise words: "I'd have definitely included _Lights Out_ and _The VVitch_ (which is an excellent film more people should know about)." The Conjuring is almost a rehash of The Amityville Horror.
The Boy is my favorite horror movie.
The boy is such a shite movie, holy damn. Good build up, good plot twist but shite overall
Good list man!
Thanks! :) if you are intrested in more horor movies, i got another top 10 horor movies 2016, ruclips.net/video/cO0ymMpKJho/видео.html
Nice Movies thanks for upload
Hush, dont breath, the boy is very scary😳
do you make the top 4 metal songs of Davide Forneris? (NOW,eclipse the sun, horror dream and after death)
I would replace "10 Cloverfield Ln" with "31," surprised you didn't have it on there
Conjuring cant be at number 9, this list is just totally wrong.
The conjuring 2 should've been at least 5
because the movie sucks, as does the first one.
Hush was very good but I never understood why anyone would want to live isolated in the middle of a forest? One thing in the day would be eerie but I would die from fright at night lol.
dont breath is best of all
nabeel baloch I agree
nabeel baloch That's a thriller in my opinion.
This is the best list which I have seen till yet... but conjuring had to be in top 2
What happened to lights out. 10 Cloverfield Lane giant scary, it's just thriller and suspense and mystery.
Yeah I was expecting _Lights Out_ to be number 1. I adore the original short and was really worried when I heard they'd made a film (I just assumed it would be shite!) but it actually looks scary as hell. Looking forward to seeing it even though I know I'll crap myself!
It's was actually not all that good. I overrated it.
Awww. 😔
Lights Out is my favorite horror film of the year along with Don't Breathe. Very suspenseful and scary!
scariest movie has to be beetle juice fax
comma fax*
where can u find The woods. Can't locate it online.
The title changed to blair witch
The best in this list is The Conjuring 2.
lol the way the person or the bot says the number. hahahaahaaaa
Pride+Prudice+ Zombies , it is not a horror movie it's Charlie's angles in apocalyptic zombie old world west
good video
good list.
Thank you! :)
lol good ending flute play 😂
i feel like this is so backwards when it comes to scary
I really teared up at the end of your video when I heard the Titanic song on the flute. I think I'll watch that. Later.
MAGIC MIKE XXL SHOULD BE NUMBER 1 HORROR MOVIES
PPZ is a horror movie...how? -___-
SAME
It's not a horror movie I don't know why is on this list
You should try i Saw the devil
Neon Demon?! Really?? It was just overly glorified eye candy -_- Could have been something great but it fell flat.
Hush is alright not scary more chilling and good to watch
Most of those seem like Thrillers/Suspense and The Neon Demon. Yeah I guess thats a horror film in the same way Twilight was a horror movie...
Don't just show trailers, explain why you like them or I have no reason to stick around.
not lights out why? it is haunted than conjuring 2
lights out isnt that good it had zero tension all it was is a whole bunch of obious jumpscares
Thank so much for this movies
no problem man! make sure to check my other top 10 horror movies out!
Movies are okk but ur voice of 1 2 3 is more scary

The conjuring 2'was way scarier than most of these
Can't be bothered correcting punctuation
This takes longer than that tho....
lol the music at the end!!!!????
I agree with the list but 10 cloverfield lane at the top list is a bit much
neon is marked 3 ??? seriously 😂😂😂😂😂
oh and lights out that movie is hecka scary
Am i the only one who cant find the woods?
The Woods is another title for Blair Witch (2016).
Lmao the end song XDDDDDDDDDDDD
so as you can see from this clip, 2016 was a real shit year for horror films...
o my god that music in the last so hilarious hahhaha
awesome..
10. Showed the trailer for Blair witch
its the same film, the woods is another title for the film :)
Why 10 clover field is no.1
judyann solasco because is a thriller movie
I wouldn't call 10 cloverfield lane or pride and prejudice and zombies horror films. Also couple missing like lights out or The Witch, both are great films. Also, the boy was ok up until the twist reveals itself and it became truly shit, not a great horror at all.
The titanic song is perfect at the end 😂😂😂
haha i love that piece. its really a A for effort moment 😂😂
@@MisterRandomTop10 lol the mistakes are the best part lmfao it's like an intentional well deserved slap to the face 😂😂😂

HUSH WAS A GOOD ASS MOVIE I FUCKING LOVED IT lol
aside from conjuring 2 ( which i also considered boring), these fils cant be considered horror. lol

no, its not what it once was. definitly not
can someone suggested me A good horrer movie of 2016??
the darkness was really bad and stupid and It was the worst of the year
Most of these movies are shit. Why the hell is the Conjuring 2 at no. 9. ????? The darkness has a 4% rating for god's sake!!!
