Its interesting how many overlapping parts there are between VW and Audi. I'm changing the plastic oil pan to metal for my GTI shortly. This upgrade is a Frankenswap from a few cars. The metal pan is a lookup for the GTI, while the flat gasket is a lookup for a Touareg. The shape, size, and application are the same but sourced differently. I like yours because its designed to fit the OEM gasket without the need for silicon. One thing you may have failed to mention is the bolt length. I believe if you're switching from plastic to metal, the bolts are different lengths. The metal pans are much thinner than the plastic, so the original 20 bolts may to too long. The torque specs technically may be different for those 20 bolts, but as long as they are evenly tighten without being too tight, it should work. I think another tuber had his at 8NM+1/8 and it held fine.
