If the check engine light came on after filling the tank, check the gas cap. If the seal is bad, it will give you an evap error code P0440 or P0442. My old E350 did that and it turned out to be a bad seal on the fuel filler. Cheap and easy fix.
My car's wipers do that too. It's part of the rain-sense wiper system. But it only does it if you have that feature 'on'. If the wipers are completely turned off they don't move.
mine does it unless i push down on the wiper arm, putting it back into full rest position. then it wont do that again until i use the wipers again. something is outta whack.

Do you know what the 'E' button is for on your seat controls? It's for 'ergonomics'. You sit in the seat, put your feet to the floorboard until your legs are at the best position for you by hitting the fore/aft button, and hit this button. It sets the seat for the ideal position then. When I had my S500, I would sit in Starbucks, and read a chapter at a time of the 'huge' owners manual. Have you discovered the 'secret menu' in the heater controls?

Mike, with all of your Mercs you need to invest in an oil extractor. Beats pulling those damn covers off and having oil run down your arm when you pull the plug. The freight from the harbor place has them pretty cheap.

You have some bulbs out on your indicators Mike, the green arrows on the dash flash far too quickly indicating blown bulbs. I'm pretty sure a car of that spec would warn you on start-up.
There is a method for the crackling middle airflow. Take it out and cover the outside edges with cloth insulation tape. Of course, so that it does not protrude outside when the ventilation grille is put in place.
Mike if you just can't find anything loose in the dash you might try applying some Baby Powder in the area where the sound is coming from. Even though this can be messy after the powder works its way down the squeak or rub will disappear. Learned this from my dad years ago when owning an old Mustang, the bushings in the front end would squeak. However today these are replaced with urethane bushings. Hope this works for you. There Was Nothing Like That B4 It Sat. Never Could Understand It Or Figure It Out,Othr Than That She Drives Like A New Car With A Yamaha Dohc 3.2L V6 Auto. Wish It Was Manual! Take Care Hope You Fix It!

mine does the same with the wipers. with your key out of the ignition, if you push down on the drivers wiper arm and make it move down a bit, then try to start the car it might stop doing that. however i think it has to do with the wiper motor or something i forget its a known issue tho.
Re the squeaky dashboard: I once saw a mechanic fix this by spraying Cockpit Spray in the gaps between the sections of the dashboard. This stuff should of course not be put on the surface of a dashboard in a nice car, but it seems to fix squeaks. And I believe I heard some squeaks from the front suspension when you left your driveway and turned into the street.
I wonder if you had the engine oil overfilled it probably triggered the overfilled warning light as it was the top sensor. Once you correct the oil level it should display the level on the screen as its reading the lower sensors. Its a cool feature but always trust the dipstick hehe....

My son used to watch some videos where someone put Spiderman and Marvel characters into Grand Theft Auto or one of these car theft games and they'd drive them around crashing into things, that song was the first song on the first video we ever watched, he recognized it right away as I'm watching your video and thought I was watching one of his lol.

According to the manufacturer, after using the dipstick as a 'measuring tool', you should remove the dipstick from the engine and replace with the original stopper/plug. I'm assuming that if the dipstick is left in the engine while it's running, it may come into contact with internal components which could lead to catastrophic consequences - better safe than sorry.... Just my 2-cents.

I'll keep the dipstick in the trunk in a plastic wrap. Part of it stuck out even when fully inserted.
