Thanks, brother. That was cool. Especially since there is a real shortage of turnaround lessons on RUclips. It's such a critical part of soloing over a 12 Barre, you'd think there would be more discussion of it. I don't want to be that guy, but it would have been a sweet bonus to go over your thought process just a tiny bit more, so as to understand your choices just a little bit better. For instance, your lick over the A isn't exclusively from the A Blues Scale (I know you mentioned you were combining the A and E Scales). I can see why it's outside the scope of this lesson, but just a couple minutes more insight into how you think about improvising over a turnaround would have been a nice addition. Thanks again. Good stuff.
Such a great lesson! I saved this in a playlist a couple of years ago and revisited today. Perfect blend of theory and practical advice for soloing over the turnaround. Thanks Swifty 🙏
E9 ---A7. -----Bb7-------SO THATS THE 1 4 5 progression ? scary chords !----and different pentatonic to solo over -? no thank you --this is for advanced blues guitarists only --NOT learners !

Your lessons here are simply outstanding. With over 50 years of playing guitar, I'm learning things I never knew existed.
Thank you very much.
