What Jay Wright has accomplished in 21 years at Villanova is nothing short of sensational. Jay Wright is the personification of class, humility and sportsmanship. Nobody even close to this man!
Being like family isn’t luck of the draw; it’s a Blessing. Stay Blessed.
Villanova Basketball will never be the same again.. Just remember Penn State when Paterno was forced to step down. It killed them, haven't recovered since,; it's a damn shame, but all good things don't last forever. Thanks for the memories Jay, we were on top of the world with you at the helm. To Jay; cheers mate; cheers!!!
Please don't make such a silly comparison, Paterno let kids get boofed for decades and did nothing
@@walnutz8743 I think you have the wrong guy. Paterno told the President of Athletics, which is what he was supposed to do, unlike the Red Headed coach that actually caught the real culprit in action & didn't stop what he walked in upon. Don't even Try pal, get your faxed straight. I remember the whole disgusting scene & investigation that followed.
Gonna miss seein ya on the court coach.
Mono audio?
Neptune is good but he will have some huge shoe's to fill ... Don't worry Nova fans . Jay is staying at the University , just in a different role
Ladies and gentlemen, the next head coach at the University of Kentucky. Cal is on notice.
not at all! Philly or nothing with him….. BTW Go Cards!
Calipari already signed a lifetime contract with Kentucky, so the decision is pretty much his for when he wants to step away
@@hots25dm It was a not so serious, tongue in cheek response to what we see in the coaching carousel. Probably won't happen, I know. But you know there are some big time schools waiting on Jay to feel that hollow spot in his gut watching games on TV and throw a monster number at him that may be too good to refuse. And if he says yes, good for him. He would turn any under performing program around on a dime.
@@ChiefBlue4298 I don't think this will really happen, but contracts don't seem to mean much in this day and age. Too many examples to list on that front.
Just kill me.
He maybe going to the 76ers
No. Not since the Sixers are doing well and they are in the playoffs now.
@@kdean30 I would still take Jay wright over Doc Rivers.
How the fuck does this guy retire??? He had a serious run that probably would've kept on
