- A TAS All Star run with Pichu, only using moves that don't inflict self damage.
Like with my Samus All Star TAS, I used custom textures and music with this run. All textures I used can be found here: smashboards.com/threads/offic...
As for the music, I used custom .hps hacks from Smashboards and also created my own custom stage music. Here is a list of the songs used in order:

How to play pichu
Unscrew the B button
Sorry to say but there are unfortunately some electric attacks that use the A button, so removing B doesn’t eliminate it completely unless you use stuff like up air.

Tas doesn't predict a thing. Tassers just can react to every single thing and create a perfect outcome
JuDasher [GD] Tas allows you to take the game frame by frame, and allows you to go back several frames if needed, creating the perfect reatction possible for any seniaro.
And if one of their attacks come out on frame 1 for some reason you can just go back a few frames and use another move

What is this mechanic, though? Do opponents gain hitboxes after they've been flung?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they have a hitbox stuck to them when flying, that goes away after a certain distance.
And why do you think this mechanic isn't present in future Smash titles?

Do you think it would be possible to do a tas run using only fox shine? Idk if you could do no damage or if it would take way to long.
Given Fox's shine is one of, if not the best, moves in the game, this is like asking someone to beat Halo using only a rocket launcher. The downside is that while I'm confident gamerfreak, or any TASer for that matter, could make a shine only run, it would be incredibly boring. Every fight would consist of shine-to-shine combos across the stage, then a shinespike for the kill. The move itself is too simple for anything fancy, so it'd literally just be 10 or so rounds of this one combo. Good idea in theory, and really easy to TAS, actually, but boring in practice.
Yeah like what Innenkos said, it would be super boring. I could make a single versus match of just fox shine, but a whole all star run would be too repetitive.
