This video will walk you through the process of installing an LEDGlow Million Color Golf Cart Lighting Kit to your electric powered golf cart. We will demonstrate how to power the kit using an 8-volt battery setup, and, a 12-volt battery setup. If your golf cart does not supply exactly 12 volts of power you will need a voltage reducer to install your lighting kit. The voltage reducer can be purchased here: www.ledunderbody.com/golf-car...

Got them in today from Amazon, purchased for my EzGo golf cart. Very easy to install, no issues with the remote sync either. The lights are very bright, love the various speeds and color combo. I used zip ties not the tape, felt it would eventually fail.Liked the self tapping screws too, worked well on the heavy plastic underbody.
Great lights I love them
Do you have a video for lithium battery connection?
What size eyelets will I need and if I have a 36v 6 battery set up(6v each battery) will I need to install a voltage reducer
Will these lights work on an Evolution lithium golf cart?
Thank you for this video. Is there a way to wire this kit to a switch on the dash board?
Yes. You would need to attach the power wires from the control box to the switch and then run another set of wires from the switch to the battery.
i have an old kit from 2010 that came with the solid tube lights. i noticed the blue control box still looks the same as the new lights, can i just replace the outdated tubes or do i also have to change the control box as well?
Unfortunately, you will need to change the control box as well.
Is there enough wire to run the control box under the dash on an ezgo rxv 48v rather than on the outside of the seat area?
Yes, where the control box is mounted is completely up to you.
On the 8v set up, you ran the positive lead off one battery and the negative off a different battery. Why is that? Can I run both wires off of the same battery?
Yes, you can use any ground. We chose that grounding location because it was close and would not stretch the wires.
I had the same question. Thanks Paul for beating me to it!
I kinda had to redneck the installation until I’m able to take the wheel wells off it’s duct taped in the wheel well for now 😂
I installed to kit and the lights worked. I hit the mode button on the control box and the green light went off and the amber light is on. What could cause that?
Which kit did you purchase? The LED's on the control box will change to whatever color the underbody is set too. The light on the box should only be amber if you have the underbody set to an amber color.
I have the EZGO 72V lithium with 6 12V batteries. Will this kit work with that?
Yes, you will need the voltage reducer tho.
Do I need the reducer if I’m running two 48v lithium batteries?
Yes, you will need a reducer.
Why are the lights not changing color and blinking when I test them
They should, please contact our customer support so we can resolve this issue.
Is the control box what senses the music? Should that be mounted close to the music output for the best response for music synch?
Yes, the control box itself is what sense the music. Mounting it close to a speaker will give it the best response.
I ordered mine off amazon and did the install following this video and the only color I have is white
What should I do
Double check all your wiring.
Do these not come with the eyelets?
No, it does not.
@@ledglow that sucks
Ayo I got 12 6v will it still work
No, has to be 12 volt or higher.
LEDGlow dang well could you help me find any
I just got my lights and put them on yesterday and installed them as soon as i wired them up they lit up. The power button does not work so I can only turn them off by taking out the fuse. The lights do not change color and the only thing I can change is some flashing speed. the wheel wells only stay on white, the underbody is half white and half yellow. The remote doesn't work at all. this is not very cool looking and if it doesn't get corrected I might as well take them off and throw them away and give them a really poor review!!. I guess I will find out if the company stands behind the product.
It sounds like you overpowered the control box. Did you install the kit with a voltage reducer?
Couldn’t you technically just connect the reducer to the battery that gives you 16 volts in a 6 8volt battery configuration?
Can I add a switch to control these?? Or do you have to power them on/off each time using the provided control box? Thanks!
Yes, you can use a switch.
Your saying reducer for 6 -8 volt batteries. You need a DC to DC booster 8v-12 volt! I followed the video and got a reducer and it’s 100% wrong. The idea is right the wording is wrong
