One thing I think people don't get about the Taurus thing in terms of "laziness" or the tendency to put on weight is that Taurus is all about sensual pleasure. The same sensitivity that makes us ~awesome~ lovers also means that we can feel pain hardcore. It also means that when we ARE hurt, we want comfort and sometimes that can mean food.
I think there's a lot about this spirit that just needs some nice love.

Could have Gemini or Virgo sun sign. Depending on how your chart is aspected, you’ll look mercurial in appearance. Mercury is all about fast pace right? So most geminis or Virgos contain a slim slender. I’m a Taurus rising and I gain weight easy, I lose weight easy, I put on muscle mass in chest easy. But like the bull, Legs are skinny lol.

OMG I'm a Sagittarius with a Taurus rising... And it all makes sense now XD I'm super ambitious, but I'm kinda lazy too, I like to stay in the comfort of my home, but I wanna go to Japan some day. I hate bras, I find them super uncomfortable and useless... but I really LOVE wearing makeup and nice clothes. I feel like you were biased when you made this video because you obviously do not like Taurus Risings that much. Some of the things you said were completely untrue. I have a Taurus rising at 10 degrees and I am not boring, I love being spontaneous, I love cute clothes and shoes even if they are not that comfortable, I have no perfume or bath salt collections, I am not close minded, I don't believe I am always the right one, or the nice one, I am the first one to admit when i am wrong or if i am a bitch,, which i am a bitch sometimes. I think a lot of people are smarter than me. Sorry if you hate Taurus risings for some reason, but you should have made this video more professional you think? Very accurate video. I think Taurus rising may have a tendency to gain weight because it is a sedentary type. They can be methodical and plodding; it's just their way of making sure things get done properly.

Hey Alyssa! I had a chart reading with you and I was the one with the same ascendant, sun, and moon as your son! My aries rising is a little over 26 degrees and when I look at my chart on the wheel graph, I really do have the majority of my ascendant house in Taurus. I relate to Aries rising, but I find I relate much more to the Taurus rising overall. Same with my Venus in Libra in the 7th house which is in Libra but only 95% of it is in Scorpio with Pluto, Jupiter, and North Node in the 7th. Which are all in Scorpio. Can you give me some insight on that? Because I also do relate MUCHHHHHHH more to Venus in Scorpio rather than my Venus in Libra. Thank you!!!

Aren't you automatically drawn to your descendant? I always seem to be drawn to Scorpios though I haven't had very good experiences with them. Intense and the best at first but end abruptly and messily.
BTW, Totally agree about Scorpio Descendant!!!! LOL XD Added many Tauruses attract people who are Scorpion-like, and yet as the saying goes what you attract is who you are. Many of the qualities they attract are projected qualities in themselves. I'm Scorpio Rising. I need some stability, or I need to recognize my need for comfort ability.

I have Capricorn sun and moon, my mother has Virgo sun (seriously every Virgo stereotype ever known to mankind) and Cancer moon. But we both have Taurus Rising! And we never have gotten along -- sometimes we have truces, but we don't understand each other at all. But we both definitely think we are super sane and everyone else is crazy. Especially each other! We each think the other is seriously disturbed. Yet we sometimes have the same demure mannerisms. People comment on it.
Ascendant signs are quite fascinating. Its funny how people even with a soft Ascendant, still manage to search for more extroverted qualities if they have extroverted planets in signs.

Im curious as to how some aspects of my chart would be interpreted.
I'm a Capricorn Sun, Taurus Ascendant, Pisces Moon, with Capricorn in Mercury, Venus and Taurus in Mars.
I've tried to gather some information to interpret myself but I have so much conflicting data.
I'm not entirely sure if this changes but my sun is in the 9th house, moon in the 11th, mercury and venus in the 9th too. My mars is also in the first house. Is anyone able to shed some light on this please as it has me extremely confused!
