I had one once but sent it back. The reason? The bad recording quality (almost unusable), the bad quality of the stream, the problems that are repeated endlessly (you can't make a paid contract, because you find out that something doesn't work before the transmission). But! I would buy it again if the quality of the stream and the recording improved considerably. This is the most important thing, not adding layers, etc

I’m experiencing similar performance with two units. I don’t stream, but I bought it to add into our workflow for virtual events. Our experience is the HDMI output is poor at best. We’ve tested many cameras, cables, and SDI converters (HDMI from cameras to SDI back to HDMI for longer runs). No luck. The video is jittery.
If anyone has evidence of how to make the YBP perform well over its HDMI output, I’d love to learn how.

I think its totally worth it because you already skip using laptop or pc, and obs software, at the time its a switcher limit to 3 inputs HDMI and can record, with mic inputs, demn so tempting to buy for livefeed business
