You are correct, the body is aluminum and will not rust... However, if scratched or if moisture gets under the paint, they will corrode. Similar idea, but different.

This vehicle has an aluminum body. So, you shouldn't see any rust... unless there in a steel fitting or screw somewhere that someone added.
