There will never be another Joe Cocker..makes me even sader..RIP Joe
One of the greatest Rock and Blues Singers of all time. His phrasing was unique. When you heard Joe Cocker sing his was the ultimate version of any tune. All the British greats respected him. I had the good fortune to meet him through Felix Flaco Falcon my mentor and next door neighbor. Played with Joe in the 72 tour. He was such a shy and humble person. A true master. Rest in eternal light. We will never forget you.
Joe Cocker is the best singer that can be called a legend and a great legend to ever be watched at his performance's around the world..This is a phenominal man to entertain the world..Thank you God for Joe Cocker...sadly missed
🤍 👏👏👏👏👏 Saludos desde 🇨🇱 🤝
Back when you had to be talented to cut it in music. Shame music like this isn’t being made today
💯
He sounded and looked great and healthy here. Thanks Joe, the best!!!
This is a great performance. If you find it weak at first, it builds to that ol' Joe Cocker intensity at the end.
Recorded in muscle shoals Alabama I met him at the holiday Inn OMG what a beautiful soul.
Thank you Bryan Adams for a great song but no one could have sung it like Joe
JOE COCKER - A MASTER AT WORK - RIP
The late great Joe Cocker may he RIP 🪦
Love me some Joe Cocker..
Gotta be one of the greatest late night talk show performances ever. Wow!
Love this song,
Miss you when watching you Joe missing you always. The gentleman of blues music, R.I.P. Joe Cocker, xx
The great Joe Cocker! Pure soul.
This is one of my favorite Joe Cocker videos. He sounds great and looks great.
The bass player is in his own category
The quality of this recording is phenomenal; your archival abilities are unrivaled. Thank you.
I love this song. RIP Joe.
You know, I used to be all "Joe Cocker's best years were 1968-70 when he was young blah blah blah . . ." Well, I throw up my hands. The man was brilliant, with a few bumps in the road, at every stage of his 45-year career. Dave is so funny. "You have singing pigs?" I didn't know the English had so many words for "stink."
Oh no, I agree, I think this was a VERY high spot in his career
Shoot...I didn't know what he was talking about either!
One of the greatest of all the "LEGENDS"!
WOW----
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Love Joe. And Dave ❤️❤️
Great!
We saw Joe and his wife in a grocery store in Santa Barbara in 1983. He gave us a friendly nod as he stood in line at the check-out. A small order of canned meat and whisky.
O cara é simplesmente fantástico, canta muito é humilde...
Joe,Cocker..the legend and one and only..phenomenal..rhythm is great and lyrics are explicit..the genius of soul ..thank you Joe Cocker for such a fantastic performance ..U entertain the world..sadly.missed

The song is written by Bryan Adams!
Not only Brian Adams , including JIM VLENCE & DIANE Warren. All three writers very talented.
His timing in his movements here are pretty cool, could be a great conductor lol❤😂 he always seemed very humble
Joe RIP you are a legend ,sing with the Angels
Grande e bom Cocker a cada ano que passa melhor fica.
Deus o abençoe.
Nod to TM Stevens, an all-round great guy...with tremendous funk style. I never cared about funk till TM. RIP
A legend.
the lead guitarist kinda looked like stevie ray vaughan lol
RIP Joe Cocker ✝️
Just love how Will Lee pulls a fast one - and gets in on this badass action....
My suspicion is that people don’t realize how difficult this song is to sing. He nailed it.
Another singer that I loved to listen to when he was older...something g changed..perhaps the voice mellowed..
Excelente yo eh gracias
Magnífico!!
Why didn’t they have a towel for him? It’s only Joe Cocker, legend.
Rip Joe
It's so awesome seeing Will singing back-up. Donz, did he do it on a regular basis? I remember he sang McArthur Park towards the end and he sounded pretty good.
Will has sung backup harmony on nearly every Late Night guest music performance. Both his voice and bass playing have been his ticket to studio work for over 45 years.
@@dongiller In such demand that he missed the final Late Night episode, no?
Mike Stevenson During the final week of Late Night, Will was in Japan touring with Sadat Watanabe. He had asked Dave, who told him his last shows wouldn’t be a big deal. Only later did he learn that they actually were. He told me he regretted not being there.
@@dongiller Amazing, Don, thank you very much for this! While you're here, one for the request pile. If you ever locate or get a chance to post it, I'd love to see the sequence where Soviet rock star Boris Grebenshikov calls American music boring and Dave says "Making friends everywhere he goes."
Mike Stevenson July 14, 1989. In time. Currently working on a massive video compilation that’ll hopefully be ready in around 18 weeks, when, assuming the channel still exists by then, we’ll reach 100 million views. I want the collection to reflect the milestone.
RIP TM Stevens
The late, great Joe Cocker giving it his all, and Dave well before he turned into Santa Claus.
Cuando el talento está en primera persona
