I met Zandra Rhodes in Leicester at The Guild Hall with Andrew Logan many years ago. She truly was one of the nicest human being I have ever met. We talked about art and fashion and she asked me who was my favourite Fadhion Designer. I had to give her my honest answer and I said Vivienne Westwood. There was no envy or disappointment in her part and she was intrigued and asked me why I had chosen her. I told her that Vivienne Westwood was so very English and I loved the way she looked to the past to inspire her clothes. She told me I was a very honest and handsome young man! I wished I had said her! I kick myself now! Only The Great Zandra Rhodes can ever claim That the late Princess of Wales had worn one of her creations when she fainted in Japan when she was Pregnant with a future King of Great Britain. Incidentally i was wearing Thierry Mugler and Vivienne Westwood at the time. Zandra And Andrew Logan then asked me to join the mini Catwalk and I was asked to wear a beautiful face mask made with broken / smashed mirror peices. I'm sure they had the last laugh! It was an honour to have met her! Lovely Lady!
