I've been transcribing this song and the timing on that bar at 0:29 is kind of confusing me. How are you counting it? Without slowing down the tempo the best way I could think to do it is in 5/4 with 6 equally spaced notes, do you think that's right?
It's just a tempo slow down for a single bar, and it sounds sick. :) I feel like not enough bands use tempo shift. For more examples, you've got Gojira (subtle) or Car Bomb (really obvious)
