Just picked up my ‘22 Cross Sport Premium R-Line in Pure Gray and it’s a beautiful SUV. It definitely draws attention! With the V6 I’m already averaging right at 22 which is a bit more than my than the V6 ‘13 Sorento I just traded. I drive a fairly even mix of highway and in town driving. Looking forward to my first long distance trip.
Just purchased one and love it.
Can u keep me posted??? Thinking about buying one
Tell us more.
Same here... had my R-Line for two weeks and LOVE it
Did u hear abt the problem. Where it can just stop?
@@jadelashonda6098 Yes but have no experienced this issue myself
August 26, 2022. I purchased new and pick up today. My first to the Atlas. Mine is 6 cylinder R platform. Black in color with a brown leather interior.
I got mine about a month ago in black pearl. Love it!! My only flag on the play is the front turn signals. They are the only non-LED lights. Why though?
Excellent to Lease no complaints yet, great looking too.
How much did it cost monthly
Can you share how much monthly?
I got the 2021, drives well, excellent for my fellow tall people. Just 1 petty complaint - the horn. It's like Barry White w/a Steve Urkle voice. Horn doesn't fit this sexy & substantial looking vehicle. Hopefully VW has changed that.
we just got a 22 SE w/tech package in black pearl, but with the turbo 4 cylinder 4Motion, wish i had gotten the V6 but not really going to be towing anything so we are happy, its very comfortable for us and has enough pickup to keep us feeling safe, love the look of the Cross Sport, it certainly turns heads!
Amazing car for the price
Do you know if adaptive cruise control shuts off at a specific speed (Honda Passport is 25 mph)? My Hyundai Sonata ACC works through stop-and-go traffic most of the time. It’s a great feature.
It does have a stop and go feature and it works pretty well!
would’ve liked to hear more on the 4motion (AWD) especially in comparison to the v4 model
Is the privacy shade standard in the rear?
Do mechanics like that the engine is so low?
Im between this or palisade calligraphy
I just purchased a 21 se tech v6 and love it
No mention of price?
where can i get this vehicle in Right Hand Drive? please!
Does this come in a 7 passenger suv
nope
Yes, the regular Atlas
Sure does
Does this have active dampers?
Is the suspension better than the standard cross sport….because the suspension sucks
When I think of this car car I think of hard plastics surrounding the driver. That would really bother me in any 50K car.Actually everything would bother me in a 50K car
Yeah a ton of cheap trim, fake plastic vents on front end and fake exhaust vents etc. I am in the market and want to like this vehicle more but I am having a hard time. All that fake plastic is very hard / impossible to keep the dirt out of over time.
@@LSC2001 Indeed. Fortunately there are alternatives- the Telluride, the Palisade,Ascent and the Grand Caravan, The Palisade is about equal or better to AudiQ7 which is dressed up WV at a 30K premium price. Personally I will test drive the Telluride vs Atla/Cross Sport. But the only way to find out is to drive them all which is too time consuming for me.
@@keytothegate68 if you can find a dealer that has sister dealers then it’s not bad. Luckily in my area a salesman can get his hands on multiple makes and have them all together to look at. Going tomorrow to have a look at Atlas, Palisade, and a few others.
I loved the appearance of the exterior. I loved how much space there was inside. And huge trunk. Ultimately I didn’t get it for exact reason you mentioned, cheap ass plastic interior that’s shouldn’t be in a 50k plus car.
@@keytothegate68 Unfortunately, those alternatives drive like they are cheap. You might get more soft touch, but it's low quality. They also have a really cheap feeling to the way they drive. I had a hyundai once in 2017, and it was a good thing it had a 100k mile warranty, because it needed it. The cross sport has more plastic than I'd like but it drives wonderfully.
👍👍
The analog dash board was much more eye pleasing and it looked like a precision instrument. This new digital board seem to have toy like graphics specially the speedometer. I would go with basic model vs sel trim because you pay over 10K more and you are still surrounded with hard plastic and the engine is the same.
If that’s your complaint you shouldn’t be buying this car.
We have one and it is in my opinion a piece of crap. Took it through the first car wash with the cheapest wash, no wax or extre just soap. After that the front sensor no longer works, cruise control stopped working, the headlights that used to dim automatically no longer do that. And unrelated to the car wash problems the the rear hatch does not open completely. About 1/2 to 3/4 open..
Sounds like you need to contact the dealership. Certainly dont have any of those issues myself.
Almost bought this in 2021. But then cheap plastic interior pissed me off in 50k car.
It does have more plastic than I'd like but VW had to choose where to put the value on a 50k SUV. There's really not a lot of other great options at 50k. You can get a Kia or a Hyundai...but any other premium SUV will be 60K+
VW put more of their value towards suspension, drivetrain, and space. Unfortunately, at 50K, you can't have it all.
*I have this car.
@@anthonyperretta8781 I get that there are trade off but even the maxed out Kia Sorento which is smaller but can be as much as 48k has better interior materials. Looks wise & space wise, it’s a great car. I still think the v6 engine is still a little under powered in its acceleration.
@@FernandoGonzalesPortillo I agree the materials might seem nicer for kia (at least at first impression). Comparatively, the VW lacks for interior materials, but it drives 100 times better. Kia still feels like a low quality car that is playing dress up.
lol very premium looking inside, the plastic which is used does not give the impression the car is cheap by any means
@@TheDBNpoison simply disagree. I saw it in person and was not very impressed with the interior for the price point it’s at. And this was the top trim level too
Hahahahaha, at 14:28 look at the dashboard and Avg. 5.7 mpg! This car has great mileage on highway, 21-23 mpg. Local/city driving will rape your gas tank! How do i know? I have the car😳
How do you like the car overall, other than poor city MPG?
You just saved my ass. Thanks.
I guarantee it’s not actually 5.7 mpg city…this is probably sitting on a lot being moved around at super low speeds and such.
No, he is right. The MPG is THAT bad. Inexcusable for an engine and transmission that is so boring. This thing is a pig. Bought mine in September. The engine (V6) is sooo inefficient.
