FF13 was hated just to be hated on cause FF7 FAN can't live if others ff games are not like FF7. But despite it's flaws FF13/13-2 we're really good games. Sure it was linear but had some of the best FF gameplay (i don't like that they go for real time combat), the story with the L'cie was great and had some good really great characters with each had a good development. 13 series has also the prettiest aesthetic mixing both Fantasy and Sci-fi perfectly and with Masashi Hamauzu on the songs you cannot go wrong. They we're my first FF and i loved the time i spent listening serah's theme and playing the game. AND ALSO REALLY GREAT COVER YOU KILLED IT !!! One of the most most peacefull and prettiest voice on here !
