- The latest Bald Eagle Production called "Once Upon a Time in...Holyhead" about my friend and fellow Climbers Club member Andrew Walker who had a very serious, life changing accident about 12 years ago resulting in the loss of an arm. This is his attempt to climb the classic route "A Dream of White Horses" at his favorite sea cliff of Gogarth in North Wales!
A remarkable filming effort, not least due to freezing conditions and wind. The film also doesn't show the incredible efforts of the 'Dream Team' to make this happen, including long car drives, communal commitment and great patience - to say nothing of Mr. Eagle's amazing logistics, filming and production. I was very proud to be part of it, and can only thank them all for an emotional, fun and bonkers day out!
No worries Andrew and hopefully the video is a nice memento of a "fuc#in' bonkers" day by the seaside, despite the best attempts of the annual military parade closing Holyhead sea front to stop us from getting to the Breakwater Country car park! And a fantastic team effort from everyone involved in rather trying weather conditions making filming and one armed climbing a helluva challenge! Once the wind reached it's gale force peak on the final pitch, I really had resigned myself to losing my precious drone forever in the Irish Sea... ;-) Cheers Dave
Remarkable, wonderful to see that, congratulations to Andrew and all involved in the production. I climbed Dream in the early 70s with a guy l met the night before in a pub in Bangor. John Whittle was my usual climbing partner, but wasn't around. Knew very little about the route but found our way up, a special memory, a special place. Many thanks, Roger Tweedy

Inspirational, friggin inspirational. At the age of 20, I could only dream of climbing routes like this. At 61 I watch videos such as this and it keeps my dreams alive, although I have no chance of climbing routes such as this. Thank you sir.

He is better one handed. I was the last person to climb with Andrew when he had two arms. A super day at Tremadog. Well done for improving your footwork technique!!

yes Martin, it was while watching you trying to climb with 2 arms at Tremadog that day that gave me the idea to employ a handicap system to help you keep up :-) ;-) bestest!
