for beginner readers or anybody who has trouble finishing books i really recommend getting books from your local library rather than buying them because it gives you a time limit! :)

hi Romney! I very much recommend you Kerstin Gier's first trilogy, you will adore it! It's an adorable y/an about time travellers filled with romance. Ruby red, Sapphire blue and Emerald green. (And they have also been adapted into movies which I love.)
Hello! First of all, I apologize for any mistakes, English is not my native language. to be honest, I don’t read fiction now, I somehow imperceptibly switched to near-scientific literature, since last year I worked on a big project, and this year I was preparing for state exams to enter a university, and here I can’t recommend anything I can - I'm not sure how good the translations of my favorite works are. Unless if you are fond of mythology, then I advise Fraser's Golden Bough, but given that it is in every, every study on mythology, this is not at all original. but still i have favorites from fiction i love Hugo's "Les Misérables" so much please read Les Misérables but i don't take responsibility for your broken heart Well, according to the classics, as they say, a bloody sock and soup (it was a reference to crime and punishment now, although I heard somewhere that it is better to start reading Dostoevsky from White Nights) and Master and Margarita, Bulgakov's masterpiece. Yes, yes, what is called, guess where I'm from, huh. However, in this case, I’m not even sure, for me personally, as for a person passionate about history, a good half of the novel’s charms are references to the political situation of the 30s in the USSR and, in principle, this subtle political background (and also murderers and poisoners at Satan’s ball, yes, they too ) and the second half - mythological, religious references and symbolism. like... in the end, leaving Moscow, the master and Margarita drank red wine, similar to the wine that is used for all kinds of initiations and church rituals. But the name of the wine is given there - this is Falerno wine. And this wine is not actually red. Bulgakov is a damn genius. but I don’t know, I can’t vouch for the translations (( but in general, I keep you informed (I don’t know why I wrote this if I read fiction this year only as part of the curriculum and half of my recommendations are like “mmm, I don’t know how about translation BUT ORIGINAL" but nevertheless, it is what it is u guys have my comment now)
