As always have a great day!
So, pretty much the most important part - hooking up the breakers you're going to yada yada yada over? lol
Well done it looks great !!
Thanks, it was pretty fun to set up. 😀
Looks like it's a solid unit and seems to work well. 💕
Its sorta cool its from my state.... Charleston,sc ...
Have u ever done a review on Lucas slick mist car wax?
Can you compare the two, pros and cons to each?
How long does it take to install?
Is it a must to install the Isolator valves?
It may be code in your area, and although you can get away without installing one, my recommendation would be to include the isolator valve. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
So I ordered everything! Tank, fittings and shark bites and orange thingy. Plus we have horrible sediment filled water here so I added a Aqua Pure scale filter. Now I need a plumber and electrician. I have a question. I'm replacing the 12 yr old hot water tank. I already have 2 additional empty breakers in my existing box. Will they have to be used or will the wiring that powered my outgoing water tank be sufficient? Thank you for any input. I need all the advice I can get. 😊 75 and still DYI.
I'm not sure about your current setup, but I had to replace my existing wiring to accommodate the tankless system. Let us know how it works for you! Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Apollo made?
Is this electric tankless heater noisy? I have a Rheem gas tankless water heater currently, and it's quite loud, especially since my room is right above it. LOL!
Any Update on how well this unit is holding up? Power Bill go up?
My unit has been working well. I'm getting ready to descale. As far as electric bill, mine has gone up significantly... that being said I'm paying twice as much per kWh than last year at this time. Consumption looks the same (or similar) but price is higher. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Did your Rheem unit fail? Are you replacing it with this one?
No, I switched back to the Rheem after this install video...that being said I installed this unit at my brother's house...both are still running well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
@@Jeffreviews4u Sweet! I'll be installing the Rheem on Monday in my house. I was hoping yours hadn't already failed. Thanks for letting me know!
@@MrPagevideos absolutely, I actually just posted a video where I descaled the Rheem unit.
Good luck on your install!
@@Jeffreviews4u Thanks!
What about water pressure, this thing has got to be pretty restrictive with pressure.
My PSI is around 60, hot water alone I have noticed sputtering after a few minutes (only happens for a second or two) hot and cold water together I don't notice a difference from my original hot water tank. I have read that these tankless systems don't work well with psi over 75. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Minimum activate water flow must reach 0.66gpm
Am i missing something but i thought you already did a video like this?
This is a different unit. I also showed some important upgrades. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
On the original install you should have put a bushing in the hole for the electrical wires. Leaving it off looks amateurish and doesn't meet code.
Agreed. The original install was more of a - let's get this done quickly, so we'll have hot water again, lol. That's why I went back and corrected a few things. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Heating water by electric must be very pricey! why not use gas instead?
