I remember hearing about cowashes and assuming it was complicated or labor intensive because the curly hair world is both of those things haha but I was pleasantly surprised!!! I know some people just use straight up conditioner too! Have you tried?
Yes.. When I was transitioning I use a lot As I am cowash more. It's the best that I tried. Now that I'm fully natural I shampoo once a week ( I use a clarify shampoo once a month). Yes for us natural in Canada is not the same ad in the US but it's getting better (shopper drugmart and waltmart). Now there is a lot more canadian online shop where we can purchase natural brands. I posted some on my instagram to share.
First of all that lip colour on you is 👌 I love the As I Am line! They have an amazing hair mask, it’s really pricy for the amount but I still love how it works on my hair. Never tried to co-wash so I’ll definitely try it out. Congrats on 80K🎉
Thanks for all the affordable options! I love the concept but I haven't actually tried a cowash yet. I actually just use volumizing conditioner on the day that I don't shampoo and it seems to work pretty well.
Yay! For this video!! I did not knew there was a curl rating! I have used just straight conditioner to re-fresh, but these are clearly a much better option! And yeah those 2-in-1 are like just using shampoo with no conditioner! Love that most are drugstore!! So awesome that I sent this video to a friend! thanks so much!! -Annaleis
I’ve been getting into co-washing for myself and boys. I’ve been using the As I Am. I don’t know why I didn’t realize the Sheamoisture has one (especially since it’s one of my holy grail companies) but I’m definitely going to check it out. The 1st co-wash I tried was from Jane Carter (drug store brand) and it was pretty good but I got it at TJ Maxx and haven’t seen it since so I’m not sure if it’s discontinued...
I would love if you made a video of tips you have for those wanting to start a beauty channel. Like how to get product partnerships, grow your audience, equipment you use and how to find your niche! Loved your lipstick in this video 😻😍
head and shoulders makes a cowash too and it’s amazing! I just switched from the Pantene gold series (which i LOVED) bc the head and shoulders one is made without silicones and the scent is even better! you should try that one!
I love devacurl no-poo original zero lather conditioning cleanser. I try to stay away from silicones, sulfates, etc. I buy the giant bottles, kinda expensive but it lasts me a long time.
I so so love your hair!!! It's absolutely gorgeous!!! Haven't tried these products, but it's so great you talked about them!!!! I'll check out if there are some of these here!
Cant remember if you said you have a Sallys there, but they recently brought out the “all about curls” line - which looks like its trying to dupe diva curl, but i have heard some good things about it- can you try/review that maybe? (Your thoughts?) Thank you!
Ok am I the only one that don’t like the As I Am Co Wash!!! It did the complete opposite of what you’re saying! Maybe I got a bad one cuz mines was watery and I could not detangle my hair with it at all!!! 😩

Hi! Your hair looks great! You’re goals for my channel! I love how well spoken you are!
Thank you!

Yes totally! I think it’s pretty common to just use conditioner too!

The As I Am Coconut cowash smells delicious! I have found it at Walmart for $9.

Thanks!!! I’ve covered that in my Q&A videos :)

I’m doubtful that’s available in Canada sadly!

Also Loreal paris evercreme cleansing balm is a great one to try too, although i can only find that on amazon.

Love that no pop from Devacurl! I was gonna repurchase during the VIB but now I’m thinking I might try that Kristiness... 🤔
We have used the Shea Moisture Co-Wash but I wish it was at Shoppers or Walmart in stores. Amazon Canada prices are so high sometimes.
I know right! They continue to add more lines so hopefully soon - they were all well priced on amazon luckily!
Any suggestions on over processed damaged hair that tangles easy? Co wash. Need help
These are all my faves, so whatever you have access to!
I have straight hair that’s frizzy but I’m still watching this video! I wonder if this would work for me
Maybe!!!
Love this! Great info!
Thanks Gina!!!!
Great video ❤❤❤

All I do is co wash my naturally curly hair...
