Finally Wuthering Waves on consoles! I appreciate all the improvements that's been done in version 2.0. And the characters proportions, art style and game world are already one of my favorites. I was able to link my existing Wuthering Waves account and continue right where left off to PS5. Just need to make sure to do this when you first start the game on PS5 and be very careful not to skip the prompt. Thank you so much for making this detailed and updated review

I went into the game to 2.0, and it is beyond awesome! I'm hooked! Plust the Developer/Publisher is going towards a good method of balance/non-powercreep design, making pulling for older character reruns even satisfying since now we get to pull because we like that character's gameplay, and pulling for S6 means it will be worth it since it won't be overshadowed/powercrept like other games. Plus we get to play in CROSS-PLATFORM! best developers ever man
The 2.0 is crazy good, I played since launch and did not expect a single update to introduce so much content into the game, now I'm already excited for 3.0. The best part is Flight, they implemented it without breaking the game. Really hope they add this to older regions.
Didn't think of much asides being a genshin clone with the launch of the game but boy did 2.0 bring me back. Very very top quality for a gacha/mobile game and you can tell they're putting much effort into it.
Yes, genshin impact players like me were really worried about the login in Playstation because of how difficult it was on that game, wuwa is making everything better
wuwa has this innovative feature that has been in games for decades, that is you can skip scenes. to this day there are idiots hoyoshills that want to justify not being able to skip scenes.
Its definitlet one of the few Gacha games worth playing atm, heck I'd say its one of the good few f2p games out, specially 2.0 as it feels like a rebirth of a game, kind of like FF14's 1.0, 2.0 has triple AAA quality imo.
it has some reference from GBFRelink on Patrol Quest on 0:32 man i wish Cygame put more love to their IP console and move on to the new gen games, FKHR really want to explore more based on new fanbase from Relink hopefully it has something DLC or new games (either F2P or AAA again)
It's not that easy as you think though like Relink itself faced a lot of trouble before the game released. That could easily happen again with any new game they make since Cygames is still new on the new gen console game development and that its also them that is backing the funds for their games. They are not that of a big name in the industry that Sony or the big gaming publishers can give them the backing like they do for the big AAA game devs. Also Relink is a double A title though not a triple A. I don't know why you think its an AAA game?
actually played WuWa day 1 but quit due to it being very unoptimised for my phone, fast forward a couple weeks ago my gf downloaded the game so I tried it out and my god the optimizations are very noticeable.
I've been having problems linking my account. There was supposed to be a pop up asking if I already have an account or create a Kuro Games account, but instead, I automatically logged onto my PSN account and forced start new. I've tried deleting it and waiting a month, but since I redownloaded it a month later, it takes me back to my new account. I don't know what else to do, but this has completely ruined the ps5 experience for me. I didn't have problems doing it on genshin or star rail. I just really prefer ps5 gameplay because I don't have to deal with loud fans on my laptop. I can use mobile, but it's not as immersive.
i really want illusive dream event as permanent end game. its very fun to play. also they have to work their auto echoe suggestions its really sucks for beginners, i have seen they put lvl 1 echoes as main echoe 😂😂 i am mobile player so their is no dedicated button for parry like zzz. they have to redesign their mobile control setting
Been enjoying it since the ps5 launch. Good combat and beautiful world, it feels a LOT more detailed than Genshin, characters look good, even npcs, animation is incredible and everyone feels completely different from each other in terms of combat animations (something genshin definitely lacks). Can't say I'm that into the "artifact" system, it feels really restrictive. Performance is the real issue of the game, it only runs at 60fps when there's literally nothing around you when free roaming and that's the one thing constantly getting on my nerves in such precision demanding combat system... god forbid if you try to fight more than 4 enemies, it wil run at 30~40fps at best.
you should, as far as gachas go, it's really really good, the gambling is relatively fair, compared to other big open world gachas, the combat is amazing, the combat kinda reminds me of Granblue Relink but you don't have 4 party members on the field like Granblue but rather you switch through 3 party members midbattle sorta like Genshin. plus it's free so you can just try it and if you don't like it, then no money lost.
I played Wuwa since day 1 and got lucky to have all characters in the game. I haven't spent a single penny yet. game is so much F2P friendly, all you have to do is to play the game

I like PGR but this isn't it. I don't know why low level up materials "domains" is like REALLY far so I'm stuck on lvl 30 for like the first 10 hours. Not sure why it's like that. Also combat is not as fun with large crowd because everytime they get further from each other it gets annoying
Its okay if you feel that way. I also played PGR but I love both. The combat was actually fun but probably due to the openess you can't get to adept because PGR more to arena combat than open world. Probably open world game was not for you but hey enjoy what game you find fun 👍
