I love this film when I watch it before and I rewatch it again now. Still amazing. The acting it’s so subtle but on point their exchange or looks & the lines. I wish they make more films like this but with a happy ending.
I thought i could never decide between carol, the world to come and portrait of a lady on fire...all three are so amazing... But deep down i think the world to come is my fav....coz of the passion....so much love with such passion....amazinggggg
I'm amazed... it may sound a bit cheesy but this has to be one of the best videos I have ever seen, regardless of the subjects and ship. The movie was on another level, the type that sort of leaves you with a mark afterwards, and the same feeling is what your edit has done to me. The scenes were you decided to slip in the dialogue, the song choice (incredibly tasteful and also thank you for introducing me to it) and the way it seems that the characters are answering to it gave me chills, and that ending genuinely made me shed a tear... it all came full circle. I could honestly go on and on, there were so many little details that I have rewatched it like 8 times already. Thank you so much for creating this and for sharing it. Saved it up in my list of favorites and I can't wait to share this masterpiece with my friends.

There are so many things that i loved about this movie that i cant quite put into words.I wish there was more but I just want to point out that one thing I also liked about The World To Come is that the duration of the movie is just the appropriate amount of time. It wasnt dragging and it really made me focus on the film. I also cant stop staring at Katherine’s salamander eyes ❤️ P.S that first kiss was just so passionate for me to handle.
That IS the 🎥 movie...minus the sex scene, but other than that, it’s all here.(music is perfect 👌) Just imagine you are starving...you are dying from thirst; wasting away; everyday but still alive to feel the agony; the emptiness gripping your body and you have nothing or no one to ease your pain. The longing of these two, is so palatable... I feel it like in the pit of my stomach; the aching-brokenness of loss and desperation. What do you do and where do you go, when the only one who ever filled your soul is now gone? “YOU, are my city of joy...”
For those of us that live for angst.. this movie delivers in spades; a veritable banquet of longing. Can’t get over the visuals and acting. Do I hate the way it ended? Immensely. But you know that there are stories like this, buried.

This movie opened my eyes, to the amazing fortitude and inner strength these woman and men had to overcome. I always knew it was hard, but this movie showcased it beautifully and realistically. We have so much to be grateful for, living in the time that we do. So many advancements, opportunities and choices for woman now. The ending of their story was very tragic, but it was truthful. Woman were property of men; given no voice and no choices to change their futures. Thank God, times have changed. Brilliant work ladies! Perfectly casted!
