When I was a kid my father had all of us kids to pick all the dandelions in all our neighbors yards he made wine with them, 20 years later he opened a bottle of it after my brother's wedding, boy was it strong. RIP dad love you.
Your comment called to mind one of my favorite books; Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury; a recollection of his youth picking Dandelions for his grandparents Dandelion Wine! 🤗
Love green acres, so many fantastic characters, Eddie Albert and Pat Buttram two of the best for me. I watched this when it first ran in the 1960s and it is still as funny now as it was then. Brilliant comedy.
Oliver: I wouldn't care if this truck had ejection seats. Haney: Stand clear. Out come the seats. Oliver: Mr. Haney, even if the truck could fly... Haney: Haney to control tower. Request permission to take off.
It still takes up to three weeks to get a lot of things. Some vendors offer rush delivery but it can cost fifty dollars extra. I don't know if they had any such thing back in the 1960s l was a small boy back then.
Technically, car phones had been around since the 1940's. Although the way Haney's was set up, it was similar to the modern-day "vibrate" settings on smartphones.
Mr Douglas your mothers ride was $2 .50 cents mr Douglas to mr Haney that's impossible look uh mr Haney to mr Douglas i gave your mom a mink coat for 9 dollars mr Douglas to mr Haney mr Haney my mom doesn't want that coat mr Haney to mr Douglas it was a genuine gift for a pretty lady mr Douglas to mr Haney thank you mom let's go inside bye mr Haney Lisa where you going Lisa to Oliver oliva i ordered that mink coat from mr Haney of all the 😊

Gotta love Mr Haney! lol
LOVE PAT BUTTRAM WITH ALL MY HEART AND ALWAYS WILL
Haney , he is a very good salesman.
Great salesman best ever
That vintage car would be worth a lot of money nowadays. It probably wasn't during the 1960s.
He better be careful about flying that truck, considering he’s only licensed for dirigibles.
Mr. Haney just won’t give up will he?
Not til he gets every cent from everyone in Hooterville. Especially Oliver.
@@stephenholloway6893 Reminds me of the film plot where Mr. Haney made everyone give up their land.
Love it❤️❤️
