I hate waking up early, but I LOVE being out and about early on cruise ships when it's a ghost town, makes me feel like elephants! Thanks for the video!
I’ll be sailing on her 23 day cruise to Australia on sep. 6th! This was super helpful to see an actual walk through the ship rather than cutting to different rooms all the time! Also ELEPHANTS!!!!!
Enjoyed your tour thanks, I'll be cruising on Splendor in November 2022 from Sydney, lots of little corridors to get lost in. Trying to get my head around where everything is before I cruise. Elephants 😛
This elephant was on splendor late May 2022. My favorite spot was deck 10 fwd. made for great sightseeing and was conveniently just down the hall from our spa cabin.
I know exactly where you mean, we were there for Tracy Arm Fjord. Not too many people knew it was there, or how to get there so it was never too crowded!!
I don’t remember when I went on a carnival Splendor there was a roof at the lido deck Edit: also I went on 14th-18th of December 2023 to moreton islands and back to Sydney loved the cruise hope to be on it again
What dates are your 2024 cruise cause I am doing the Great Barrier Reef cruise in April 2024 and would love to see the ship doing the cruise before I go
We are currently back to back April 1st to 11th to NZ and then April 11-21 GBR . The only thing that may change it is if they announce the Luminosa Transpacific with good stops and we may switch the GBR one to that, but as it stands it will be on April 10th. I also looked at the Itinerary for this year and there are about 18 sea days!!!
I do wonder what the ship architect was smoking when designing that interior :P We'll be sailing on her in Nov 2023, just a short 4 day cruise to Moreton Island ex Sydney. I don't think I could handle all that pink for a transpacific cruise. Pachyderms...oh ok elephants.
@@mickthecarnivalcruiselinet1901 thank you. Another question I have is How many cigarettes am I allowed to bring duty free off the ship if the ship never leaves Australian waters
1st Carnival Ship I sailed on 2012. Opened my eyes about cruising.
Almost my first in 2009, we were supposed to go right after they had a fire, so it ended up being 2010!!

Thank you !! You will have a great time on her. I will be on again in Apr 2024 for a cruise to NZ & The GBR !!
15:14 I think we went in there and there was a band or duo playing... it's been a while. It's a nice out-of-the-way little bar.
Nothing when we were on board...

Angela, I refer to them in not such a polite way, but you are correct :-)
We have 6 b2bs from Sydney beginning January 11, 2024. Thanks for your video! Hopefully we’ll see you onboard?

I noticed some seats in the theatre are reserved, why and how.
Sometimes for people needing assistance, sometimes in the front for people selected to take part...
5:15 shows a bunch of PCs or maybe they are gaming consoles? Is that right? I think it's in the kid's area.
I missed that !! Update me when you go on board!!
This is the 'pink donut' ship lol.
It's a love or hate decor for sure

I hear that!! I got used to it after a while though
We don’t have elephants in Oz except in a zoo.
Elephants 🐘 🐘 🐘
Elephants are very large !
That they are
I want to know if I can purchase smokes and smoke them on the ship
Oscar, You can purchase them in the shops on board, and they have designated smoking areas outside, but not inside or on your balcony if you have one
