Most people don't know the Mascogos people in Mexico are descendants of Black Americans. It's also 1-2 million Afro Mexicans in Mexico, but majority of them stay near Costa Chica region and very isolated

TBH this is what it is ...MOST so cal Mexican americans (chicano or Pasisas or 1-2 generations) are cool and show love. The thing is the ones that don't are overt with their biases/ racism and pettyness. It hits harder in LA because you'll find more overtly racist/ agressive and petty acting Mexican americans when it comes to black americans than you will white people overall. It hits a little different and cuts a little deeper sometimes. Ovearll though Majority of brown brothers and sisters are cool AF, respectful and open minded.
It’s true grew up in East Los Angeles. There was a hood around East Los and Boyle Heights that had a African American member. Most of the other hoods in the area won’t see the gang as an actual hood saying because they had a black member. That was one of the only reasons that particular hood had the most beef in the entire neighborhood. Check this there were like 4 or 5 other hoods around this hood. Everyday they we’re getting it. I always went to the park where there hood was located and played ball. But let me tell you how many times they shot the park up. Shit my homie got a bullet in his ass just cause we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. This other dude I met in my life hated African Americans but listened to 2pac. Like wtf. Idk the raza needs to check itself at times. I’ll just let them know you got that prison mentality. And I won’t associate with them.
