Ours, Dallas Texas, has a big swivel arm with a massive grabber/clamp at the end that picks everything up and throws it into the back of a large dump truck. No one gets out and lifts things unless there is an issue. Love watching your though!

I hear you! I use to take so much stuff home.. wish I could haul a trailer around and take a lot of this stuff home! The other day I found an amazing Terrarium set... It is truly amazing/like new! . So I kept it.. cleaned/sanitized it and used it to upgrade my sons Bearded dragon enclosure! He loved it!
You know, I will find out the exact but it has to be over 2k psi... I can't find the exact PSI though I'll talk to the mechanics to find out the exact crushing PSI!
I think it all ends up in the landfill. How can that be fuel when there so much plastic and ceramic mixed in? The only thing I see recyclable in all that is metal and cardboard.
Yes, there are many times I wish I could take a sofa... Wish people would take it as they drive by... There are many people who do though... So I'm thankful for them!!
Alright, I watched about 1/2 of that with my cat Floyd and he just climbed all over me, treating all that as background noise. Nothing of this crunchdown scared him. I got as far as those large red and black plastic trays. What exactly were those and why would someone buy something like that in the first place and throw it away when they still looked sturdy? I would have saved those two green milk containers. I would fill them up with all that wood you disposed of at about that same time, cutting it down into lengths that fit in my wood stove. That kind of wood burns very easily.
I got through the rest of it from the rolls of carpet to that blue shelving unit and finally that yellow recycling bin that should NEVER have gone into the truck. Also two metal chairs shouldn't have gone in either. Because it would be a pain to separate the metal from the wood and plastic and fabric afterwards. Anyway, my cat sat through it all, I thought the beep beep of your truck backing up might have scared him off, but nope, he didn't flinch. Just more background noise for him.
