Great advice, but we already have our pet. She is a female frenchie and her name is Lola. We bought a puppy package through our vet and it's covers all the shots, tests, normal stuff for approximately the first year. Btw, the vet gave her a clean bill of health, but we also want a good accident/illness insurance policy for her. We were thinking about a unlimited/80%/250 deductible, but there are so many companies out there and your video is so old and excuse me for saying this....outdated in regards to all the new companies, etc...... Do you have any current advice/recommendations for a current good company? Also, Lola is 3 months old and will turn 4 months on 08/23/22. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the tips! Im looking to get my Frenchie around August. I am curious though, and please dont feel like you have to answer this - How much has Leo's vet bills added up to so far? and how much have you actually paid (im assuming healthy paws covers most but not all)?
Make sure you do your research into insurance policies. Some insurance policies will only cover preventative care. Banfield does NOT provide insurance, they just break up the price of services (specifically listed services) into monthly payments.
Hey, So I tried getting a quote for my Frenchie via Healthy Paws but it's saying they don't cover Frenchies, do you have another insurance in mind? i keep having this problem with other insurance companies. Please help lol

Looked up now and they only cover 70% max French bulldogs at 500 deductible. Don’t see an option for 90%. I’ll try to find one that covers 90%.
Try Nationwide
Love Banfield! Also FYI Banfield is through Mars Pet care, not PetSmart. 🙃

Yes, I totally agree! I think Banfield calls it an optimum wellness plan. Have you used them before??
@@BridgetandLeo I have. I used to work for them as a vet tech a few years ago
@@katiemorrisroe9072 very cool! Thank you for watching and for the feedback :)
I only have insurance for my frenchie at the vet I really need to get insurance for him we visit the vet 1 or 2 a month
Hi Bridget, I’m getting my girl in about two months. Do you have any tips?
What were most of these claims for ? Thanks
you forgot to mention, these insurances don't cover DENTAL! dog dental bills are expensive.

I am considering petplan. Did you find insurance?
